Arrangements
Approved on a political level by the Summit of the Greater Region Saar-Lor-Lux+ in June 2006:
Walloon Region is MA on a transitional basis,
Up to 2009: GECT under the presidency of the Préfet de Région Lorraine (French State) takes over the role of MA
Result of disagreement about the MA

State of the play
Program approved by the Commission on 12-12-2007Convention of Partnership signedJTS in place from January 2008; employer is a Belgian asbl.
2 project calls, about 70 submissions1 Selection Committee, 7 projects approved

Implications:
Change of MA: from Walloon Region to EGTC;Certification Authority stays the same; Audit authority: from BE to FRJTS stays in Luxembourg, employer changes from the BE asbl to EGTC;
These changes were announced in theOperational Program, we believe that it shall not need a new Decision, but a simpleNotification.

Advantages
Better political vision, as long as there is not a GECTomania (GECT is FR name for EGTC)Continuity guaranteed by the fact that the presidency remains at the same memberBinding decisions.
An Interreg program is sufficiently structured by the requirements of managing regulations
10
Disadvantages
Who shall be the chief in the day-to-day business for the JTS?11 chiefs? What is the difference between an MA =EGTC <-> MA being the Préfecture de Région Lorraine
11
Points to make clear:
The program budget is not identical to the EGTC budget. Is the director of the EGTC also the director of the JTS? Rather not… Is the TA budget identical to the EGTC budget?
