The ‘cause’ I have decided to do a poster about is overall fitness and wellness in America

My currently planned public location is the university mall

Mostly foot traffic A LOT of college students and young adults Also frequent families Generally low volume traffic, but constant rate Very close to GMU, Robinson HS, and local neighborhoods

About my location, university mall

Focus on health Focus on the health of grown ups (18~20+) NOT CHILDREN Comparative and critical to the rest of the world Guilt centric I want the viewer to go and work to improve their physical

health/strength Also give viewer a sense of respect/awe/wonder for nature

Behind my design: the idea

Very bold color choice to stand out and grab passer’s attention

Somewhat directed path of vision/reading Relatively common size poster ~15 x ~20 Balance between text and images Center text should stand out but not be first

thing to see The human should not be interesting to look at,

each of the animals should be competing for the viewers attention

improvement to lifestyle improvement/change Changing tone from serious to mocking/funny Using a more focused palette of colors
