AS A STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP PARTNER
THE CFO
Be more strategic
decision makers in the
business. This is
supported by the
growing trend of
promoting chief financial
officers to the CEO role,
that’s happened in
companies like UPS,
PepsiCo, and Siemens
AG in the recent past.
Take on the role of
“value integrator”-
through taking highly
unstructured and
ambiguous situations
and putting structure
around them by
integrating information
and behavioral traits of
your stakeholders.
While research from McKinsey and Korn Ferry show that fewer than 15% of CEOs come from functional roles, CFOs’ expertise is valuable during critical transformations. Russ Mould, investment director at UK online investment platform provider AJ Bell, says the rise of the CFO-to-CEO path originated in the financial crisis when companies needed more sober leaders.
The Fundamental Four Core Leadership Skills.
Positioning Self: “Live your Leadership Brand”
Expanding Your Influence: “Confronting Uncertainty”
Digital transformation: “Scaling and Accelerating”
Taking Charge! “Building Win-Win Stakeholder Relationships”
Ably handle the internal and external pressures including the growing role of the activist shareholders, since the program enables one to also focus externally on the technologies that are redefining your business and be viewed as key member of the executive leadership team.
Interact with and learn from
veteran CEOs leading their organizations
at critical moment and what they
learned. The class composition of CFOs
across diverse industries and
organizations will enable participants to
network discuss and respond to the
emerging issues in the market and share
their leadership challenges.
