Elementary Classes Enjoy Field Trip to KOAM
Mrs. Sharp’s 4th Grade Class
Mrs. Haraughty’s 5th Grade Class
The 2nd through 5th grades took a trip to KOAM TV station. We got to tour the station and go into the copy room and the sound room. They showed the classes what each person did to make the show each day. We practiced doing the weather on the green screen. We were allowed to sit in the studio while they were doing the 12:00 O’clock news. That was re-ally exciting and the classes loved it. Everyone took the time to talk to the kids and show them different jobs. KOAM TV is coming to video each class recit-ing the Pledge of Allegiance, and will air the record-ing at 6:55 am in the future on the morning news!
