The chameleon's colors

This marvelous story is about a magical animal that change the color of his body whenever he decided. His friends, the animals of the savannah, discovered his secret and wanted to be like him.

Chameleon prepared paint with fruits, flowers and vegetables. He painted them as they wish.

At first, animals looked happy and colorful, but a few days later this situation caused them problems. For example, when Lion was hungry, he couldn't eat delicious zebras, he didn't find them because chameleon covered with paint their natural color.

All the animals realized that being painted was a bad idea. They demanded chameleon to return them their natural color, but he didn't know how to do it, he felt upset.

Suddenly it started to rain, the drops of water disappeared the paint of their bodies and solved Chamaleon's problem.

Chameleon walks from side to side and shows his amazing colors.

Animals go out of scene. Chameleon is in his house. Lion, zebra, monkey, giraffe and elephant knock the door.

(shout) Hello chameleon!!! Are you there?

Lion (he knocks the door) Open the door.

Chameleon (he opens the door) Hello, how are you?

Monkey We are fine, thank you.

Elephant mmmmmm Chameleon, we know your secret.

Giraffe We want to be like you!!

Zebra Change the color of our body.

Chameleon Ok. I will need some paint.

Lion, zebra, monkey, giraffe and elephant

Chameleon Yes. I can prepare it with some fruit.

Lion Oh that´s easy!!!!

Chameleon Listen! I will need: Apples

Monkey Here you are!

Chameleon Ok. I will prepare it.

Chameleon prepares the paint with the fruits.

Animals enter to scene and dance “Fruit song”. Use some fruits.

Chameleon The paint is ready.

Elephant I want pink and blue dots.

Chameleon paints elephant with a big paintbrush (he pastes him/her some paper dots).

Lion I want the rainbow’s colors.

Chameleon Are you sure? You will look like a “piñata”.

Lion Obviously no!!!! I want to be colorful.

Chameleon paints lion (he pastes him/her some paper lines).

Monkey Brown is a sad color.

Chameleon Ok. I will paint you green spirals.

Monkey Good idea.

Chameleon paints monkey (he pastes him/her some green spirals).

Chameleon Do you like squares?

Giraffe No. I look so fat, I prefer lines and dots.

Chameleon paints giraffe (he pastes him/her some paper lines and dots).

Zebra Hey, hey! It’s my turn.

Zebra Mmmm! Yes. I like squares.

Animals look really happy with their new colors. All the animals dance “Look for red” (Hats on top).

Lion (furious) Roarrrrrrr!!! Silence, I´m very hungry! I can´t find my food!

Giraffe Relax! Take a cookie.

Lion Cookies? I´m the king of the jungle, I eat animals.

Zebra (scared) What kind of animals?

Lion For example, zebras, but I can´t find one.

Zebra So… you won´t eat me.

LionNo!!! You are not a zebra. You have colorful squares.

Elephant(he talks to giraffe and monkey) Lion is angry and confused, he can´t see that zebra is a zebra…
