    Spend the Day Out: South Dublin Coast Dun Laoghaire to Glasthule

    Dun Laoghaire is easily reached by taking the southbound DART to Dun Laoghaire or Sandycovestops. Or hop on a 46A from Nassau Street all the way to the end of the line (fare is 2.65)

    A Seaside Stroll: Dun Laoghaire East Pier to Joyce Tower

    Starting from Dun Laoghaire DART station (also the last stop on the 46A bus) head towards ThePavillion, about five minutes walk beyond it, youll see Dun Laoghaires East Pier on your left.You can head out along the pier (with a pit-stop for some ice cream at the end) and back which willtake about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how leisurely you stroll. Once back to the base ofthe pier, you can continue your walk along Sandycove Promenade stopping at Sandycove Beachand peeking into The Forty Foot Bathing Place along the way to Joyces Tower. If you head out ona Sunday, the Peoples Park Sunday Market is a great spot to stop for a snack or people watching!Theres also Teddys Ice Cream (the original location) at the start of the promenade, which is aMUST TRY before you go home!
