to facilitate their learning of Math, Language and Chinese.
These fun activities promote independent work among the children
as they have to sit and complete each activity on their own.
Once they have completed, the teachers will check their work
to ensure that they understand what they have done.

Ethan brought three vehicles from home. One of them is made from Lego and it is an aeroplane.
The other two vehicles are an aeroplane and a backhoe.
Aarav was very excited to show his two gigantic lollipops that his mother gave to him.
The flavours are strawberry and cola.
Matthew built a lorry using Lego. He pointed out the different colours of his lorry.
Manya brought three blocks with letters on them. She identified the names of the letters.
Keagan showed his giant octopus. He told his friends that an octopus has eight legs.

Kara called her wide swirl paper straw a “magic straw” because of the illusion effect when the straw is turned.
Carissa had a bag full of stickers collected. Many were given by her grandmothers.
Oliver brought a huge Nerf gun. Even though there was no bullet,
the gunshot sound could still be heard when the trigger was pulled.

And we made “a one of a kind” lantern!

For each class level, there were some new challenges for the children after colouring the templates.
Use of the scissors Lots of eye-hand coordination skills involved……

The children had to manoeuvre their scissors to create the “holes” within the body of the gingerbread man.
Prior to this, slits were done across the “holes” to help them position their scissors.

The challenge for this group was to go beyond just cutting in straight lines.
They had to manoeuvre their scissors to cut along the outline of the gingerbread man.
Many were pleased with this new achievement!
Position & Paste More eye-hand coordination skills involved……
After choosing the laminated cellophane paper, they had to align them over the “holes”
(making sure that they are covered)
and using tape to keep them in place.

For the Love 1, they had to handle the scotch tape,
making sure that they use the “sticky part”
to tape the coloured laminated cellophane paper over the holes.
For this group, Teachers helped to cut and put the lantern togeter.

The Kindy’s Year-End Concert is greatly anticipated each year!
Yet being faced with COVID-19 challenges this year, our concert may have to take on a change.
While different possibilities are being explored currently,
