Dans une région intacte du sud du Belize, le
cultivateur de cacao et père de famille Eladio Pop
exploite manuellement sa plantation selon la tradition
de ses ancêtres mayas : en gardien et protecteur
de la terre. Le réalisateur Rohan Fernando raconte
ici une histoire de famille remplie de tendresse et
d’émotion. Il nous convie à un luxuriant périple
cinématographique d’un an durant lequel il oriente
son objectif sur le quotidien de la famille Pop, qui
lutte pour préserver ses valeurs dans un univers en
