I sure hope everyone is having a great summer as sadly it will be coming to an end but alas, we still have many warm days ahead of us. I want to again remind everyone about our golf tournament that will be taking place at Brierwood Golf Course on Saturday September 12th with a 9:00 AM shotgun start. If you play golf and have not signed up yet please do as this event is going to be a lot of fun. This is our major fundraiser for the year and we need golfers, golfers and more golfers. If you know anyone who plays golf please give them an application and let them know that all the money we raise from this event stays right here in Brunswick County. Join the Coastal Shag Club for Chili’s night on Tuesday August 18th between 5 and 10 PM. Please come on out and bring a friend,

sympathy, etc. If you know of anyone who needs some support, a cheer, or a little extra

out some sunshine, as a reminder letting them know we care.
Every first Thursday of the month the CSC Board Meeting is held at the Shallotte Moose
Lodge—253 Holden Beach Road, Shallotte, NC, at 6:00pm and lasts about an hour, or so.
CSC Members are welcome to attend and contribute! Minutes are emailed out monthly.

CSC Annual Charity Golf Tournament Calling all golfers and volunteers.... our Coastal Shag Club charity golf tournament is our largest fundraiser for the year and all of the proceeds support our local Brunswick County charities. We need volunteers – if you can help find sponsors (tax deductible!) by asking your favorite businesses, or collecting gift certificates/gifts as donations, please let President Pat Boyd, or any board member know. Let's make this our biggest and most successful year yet!!
