A color wheel is an illustrative organization of color hues through the use of primary colors and secondary colors as well as tertiary colors. It is a very useful tool in helping us to understand how to mix and make these colors.In the next slides you will see what colors go into making up the color wheel.

Primary colors are colors that all other colors are derived from. And these are

Secondary colors are formed by mixed the primary colors and are known as

Tertiary Colors are colors that are formed by mixing a primary and a secondary color.
These hue’s have two word namesBlue-GreenRed-Violet

As you can see the largest spots are the Primary colors (Red, Blue and
Yellow)
The medium size spots are your Secondary colors (Violet, Orange
and Green)
With the Tertiary colors making up the smaller spots
Quick Examples• Primary Red mixed with Primary Blue will create Secondary
Violet• Primary Blue mixed with Primary Yellow will create Secondary
Green• Primary Blue mixed with Secondary Green will create Tertiary
