Please be alert to email scams

Fr. Marcel's email account was hacked several months ago. Different emails with a slight

modification of his email address, adding an "L" or a "1".....have been sent to people to whom he had sent emails not just in the past year but ever since he got an email address. These "scams"

include requests for I-tune cards which are cashed in by the scammers. There is an Apple computer page describing variations of this scam. There

appear to be emails intended to do some "phishing" of your email contacts. These simply ask that you

"get back to me". Please do not respond, just delete the email.

I am about the size of a plum, but I am growing by leaps and bounds! I am more

than 1/5 of the way on my journey towards being born. All my muscles, organs, and

systems are formed. God’s hand in connecting them so that they will all work together as one.

FROM THE PASTOR: Celebrating my 40th anniversary of ordination, on the actual date

of those events, was a real delight. Many thanks to all who came to Mass that week-end, and to all who came to the parish party that

followed. Thanks to the many parishioners who brought food, which was fabulous. I appreciated having my fellow Knights of Columbus serve as an honor guard for the 11 a.m. Mass, and for the meal prep

and serving which they did so professionally.

I had invited Patrick Ross, a fiddler whom I had met twenty years ago during my time in Berlin, NH, who came from central Vermont with Doug Perkins, who played guitar, to entertain. They did a great job.

The whole afternoon was a lot of fun.

Thanks to all who offered their good wishes, who gave me a card, and gifts. I look forward to more social events, providing us

opportunities to build community and to form some good friendships.

Liberty House continues to accept clothing Our Knights of Columbus parish council continues to collect and deliver clothing for Veterans at Liberty House in Manchester. The collection box is located in the St. Theresa Parish Hall in the first classroom to the right. Many thanks to all who have been contributing to serve our vets.

A sincere "Thank You!" for all the help and participation in our February "Show the Love" hosting week. According to our computer programmer, Steve Cote, we logged 283 hours of service with the help of 54 volunteers.

Next year's schedule has not been finalized yet, but I know that the love will continue to be found when we need it.

Peace and Blessings to all of you. Rita

MARTHA'S MINISTRY: On Thursday February 28th, we assisted the family of Paul Leary, long time parishioner and accountant for the parish, through the process of grieving for their beloved father. Relatives from far and wide, and many parishioners who knew and loved Paul, came to pray and grieve for him. It again was our privilege to provide refreshments after the funeral so they could leave with bodies sustained by physical and spiritual food and emotional support. Thank you for all who so lovingly provided food, prepared the hall, served, cleaned up. And of course a big thank you to our faithful caller who makes the process of this ministry easier for the coordinators Ginny Doherty and Jeannine Aucoin.
