• Lack of awareness of the impact of broadband• Lack of familiarity with computers and internet• 600 homes are currently served, but some 200+ homes

remain unserved; • Because of extremely high unemployment and poverty

rates, affordability is still an issue.

-Action: Improve connection between the Tribal Health Workforce Center and the federal Indian Health Services (IHS) for better patient record-sharing; improve connections to mobile clinics out in the field.-Long Term: Expand video conferencing with IHS and the Oregon Health Network; Expand infrastructure to allow for remote health monitoring for the entire reservation; Provide on-reservation health care training through distance learning.
