Elke Schade has many years of experience in leading positions in the German and international group and private hospitality industry. She started her career with the Steigenberger Hotel Group and worked in hotel Controlling as well as in Marketing and General Management. She served as Managing Director/CEO for the Steigenberger Reservation Service (today Worldhotels), the hotel reservation company Trust International (now Sabre), the Ringhotels Association and the Neue Dorint GmbH. In June 2012, Elke founded her own consulting company under the motto "hotel expertise to the point". Specialist topics as well as personnel development and coaching are the main focus of her consulting activities. She is particularly committed to appreciative human resources management and is chairman of the advisory board of the German Hotel Academy (DHA).

Mona Olsen– Cornell University, Hotel School Professor
Olsen led Cornell to win a grant with NHH (Norwegian School of Economics) from Norway's Centre for International Cooperation in Education (SIU). Olsen also wrote the grant to lead Cornell's participation in the International Academic Partnership Program (IAPP) Cuba, a core initiative of the Institute of International Education's Center for International Partnerships in Higher Education, which seeks to increase the number of international partnerships between higher education institutions in the U.S. and Cuba.
Prior to joining the Cornell faculty, Olsen was a U.S. Fulbright Grantee to Norway, awarded by the United States Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. She founded in 2010. iMADdu stands for "I Make A Difference, Do You?" and empowers young entrepreneurs through mentoring and participation in its Student Apprenticeship Program. She also worked as a worldwide sales analyst for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
Dr. Sandra Bayer – Founder & CEO Sandra Heiden Marketing & Consulting
Dr. Sandra Bayer founded her company Heiden Marketing & Consulting in 2012 in Hamburg and she
can look back on 10 years consulting experience in the field of customer relationship management.
After her diploma in Business Administration with focus on hospitality management, Sandra Bayer
started her doctoral studies. In her thesis, Dr. Bayer developed a new communication approach based
on the customer lifetime for the hotel industry. Between 2006 and 2012, Dr. Bayer worked for Toedt,
Dr. Selk & Coll. GmbH in Munich as Director Consulting and authorized representative, where she was
responsible for international hotel customers and managed the consulting department.

Dr. Michael Toedt is the founder and CEO of dailypoint.com, a leading Big Data Marketing and CRM
company. Operating at the intersection of business and technology, he helps hoteliers to use the
tremendous increase of data in order to become data-centric. Michael has over 25 years of experience
in operations, technology and marketing. He is the author of several books (among others “Big Data –
Challenges for the Hospitality Industry”, “Data Revolution – How Big Data Will Change the Way of
Doing Business”). His articles are published by journals on a regular basis. Michael holds a doctoral
degree in management science, is a lifetime-member of the Cornell Hotel Society, lecturer at several
universities, and a member of various committees and associations.
