Journeys for Peace

Our first talk is from Dureid Rifai about the Hajj - A Journey of Solidarity and Submission. The Hajj is an annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, and a religious duty for Muslims that must be carried out at least once in their lifetime. Hear about Dureid’s personal journey and experience.

The second talk will be by Paul Haines who in 2015 walked from Rome to Jerusalem for Peace and Reconciliation. Along his journey, Paul asked for Messages of Peace from people of different faiths and walks of life, as well as hoping to help raise the profile and awareness of peace in the world. Come and hear Paul’s account of his amazing journey, along with some of his photos.
