Reducing Your Carbon Footprint

Garments that contain non-reusable fibres are sent to waste incineration power generation plants to be se-curely incinerated.

Garments are shredded and stretched to produce fibres which can be used in innovative products such as geotextiles

If you wish to help third world countries, non-branded garments can be collected and sent to countries of your choice.

The Secure Destruction

Our high capacity cross-cut shred-ding destruction system will shred in excess of 2 tons per hour. This is the beginning of the recy-cling process. The shred is a cross-cut system so there is full security assured. No items can ever be reconstructed once they have been through the secure destruction process. Once the secure destruction of the waste material is complete, it is then baled into what is known as ‘mill-size’ bales and transported to the specialist mills we work in partnership with.

The clothing/textile is initially transported securely to our destruction site. Secure destruction then takes place with our custom-built cross-cut shredding waste processing destruction machinery. Destruction is traceable via a secure audit trail throughout the whole process following the security shred-ding standards.

Specialist Textile Recycling

Through extensive research and development we have created the complete environmen-tally sustainable package. This has allowed us to eradicate the ‘recycling issue’ when de-stroying corporate workwear for brand security reasons. By working with many textile and recycling mills we have now managed to develop a strategy to recycle this fibre.

Once baled at the Secure-Brand depot, the waste will then be exported to various specialist recycling mills and organisa-tions around the world. The baled fibre material is then put through a process which splits the bales’ takes the shredded waste through vari-ous processes and finally stretches it into a fibrous material. This innovative mate-rial has a wide variety of uses including geotextiles, special papers and other in-novative products. Initially the shredded waste is taken via a number of processes through various types of conveyors and finally stretched into a fibrous material.

Specialist Textile Recycling

Custom-built machinery specifically designed for the whole process takes the shredded material in and then processes it into the ingenious fibre.

Customers are given login details to the Secure-Brand website giving them access to full traceabil-ity of their garment destruction and allowing them to download the certificates of recycling and de-struction.

Certificate Of Destruction & Recycling Our detailed certification which quantifies the exact amount of waste that has been recycled, gives you full envi-ronmental assurance. This is signed by a member of our admin team and becomes immediately available to you. One certificates is issued for each load from every site and available to you once the recycling process takes place. This covers the full audit trail for your environmental obligations and your security assurance.
