WHEREAS the Committee of the Whole considered financial relief to residents and businesses as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic;

NOW THEREFORE the Committee recommends that staff contact the following community organizations to determine the type of support that may be required, i.e. financial or in-kind support and report back accordingly:

THAT Clerk's Report CR-011-20 regarding the Community Safety and Well-Being plan be received;

AND THAT the Township of Tiny confirm its participation in a collaborative initiative with the Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene and the Township of Tay under the County of Simcoe's leadership, to develop a joint Community Safety and Well-Being Plan in accordance with Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.15., Part IX, section 143;

AND THAT the Chief Administrative Officer and Clerk be appointed to the Geographical Municipal Coordinating Committee (GMCC) to assist with the development of the joint Community Safety and Well-Being Plan;

AND FURTHER THAT Council supports the proposed local priority risks including substance misuse, mental health and homelessness as discussed by the North Simcoe/Huronia Geographical Municipal Coordinating Committee at its meeting held March 5, 2020.

THAT Public Works Report PWR-014-20 regarding the Great Lake Waterfront Trail be received;

AND THAT the following be approved to support the extension of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail:

• That staff be directed to advise the Waterfront Regeneration Trust that it wishes to participate in the extension of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail through the Township of Tiny.

• That staff be directed to work with the Waterfront Regeneration Trust to identify, map and implement the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail expansion within the Township.

• That the Township supports the County of Simcoe participation in the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail Partnership Program as the "one-window" for all Simcoe County partners, with a County annual contribution of $3500 per year to the Waterfront Regeneration Trust.

• That staff be directed to advise the Waterfront Regeneration Trust that it will supply hardware and labour for the installation of the required Great Lakes Waterfront Trail signage on roads that are under the Township's jurisdiction.
