Dear Parents The last two months have culminated in a very successful Sports Day, held on Saturday, the 28th of October. Although a miserably cold morning, we had a fabulous turnout of learners, parents and supporters. Congratulations to Orion House for being crowned Sports Day Champions for 2017 and Trifid House for winning the Spirit Trophy!

Covered Astro

We have recently been lucky enough to have our sports astro covered. This has provided our learners and coaches with some much-needed shade and protection during those uncomfortably hot days. The sports astro is utilised for many of our physical education lessons, integrated day coaching as well as sports specific coaching such as cricket and hockey and netball.

Softball

We have had some great fixtures against our bigger neighbours as well as a trip out to Pecanwood Preparatory School and College. Our young ladies continue to learn and apply their skills brilliantly and I am just sad that this part of the softball season is so short. I look forward to Thursday the 23rd of November when we will be staging our Carlswald House Preparatory School Inter House Softball Challenge 2017. This is the first time we will be staging such an event and our 2017 Softball Champions will be revealed at the conclusion of the Junior and Senior Matches. We look forward to seeing lots of parental support for your daughters!

Cricket

Our cricketers have been hard at work down at the nets with Coach Byron and Coach Sulaiman. This hard work has seen us gain notable victories against Curro Waterfall and Curro Rivonia. A close game against Building Blocks is certainly evidence that our cricket skills and techniques are developing nicely!
