“I was fortunate enough o be a guinea pig for Julie who to-tally relaxed me with her ex-pert skills, many of the staff followed and commented that we should have this more of-ten! What struck me as I was closing my eyes and relaxing was that I was listening to staff and soaking up the at-mosphere which was really buzzing. I overheard staff who where talking to each other from op-posite wards—it was as if they’d not seen each other in ages. There was a definite sense of togetherness. I truly believe this celebra-tion enabled the nursing staff to feel appreciated in their roles ,” sa id Karen McGeorge.
