Still, shots taken from an IS video in Yemen show weapons manufactured by Serbian state-owned arms manufacturer Krusik and exported by Jugoimport SDPR. The weaponswere purchased by American company Alliant Techsystems LLC (a subsidiary of ATK Orbital) on orders from the US Government. They were orderedby the US military as part of the Resolute Support operation in Afghanistan. In other words, they were supposed to be part of the US training and support for Afghan military and police when, in fact, they were shipped to terrorists in Yemen and Syria.

Gaytandzhieva’s report also shows that US companies have been shipping weapons to Al-Qaeda from the same Serbian

manufacturers via US military bases in Croatia and Qatar, as part of the US Special Operations Command's (USSOCOM) Train and Equip programme in Syria. Many of those weapons have been identified in Al-Qaeda and IS videos in Syria and Yemen.

The finance for these arms supplies was handled by Sierra Four Industries, USA, on behalf of the US Government. But the payment passed through British company Charles Kendall & Partners Ltd. Why would US government contracts pass through private British companies?

Another US arms contractor identified in the documents is Mil Spec Industries. They supply weapons to the US military. In a leaked email to Krusik, they ask that their company name be removed fromthe weapons packaging. Why does the company not want to beidentified? Many names of US military personnel are mentionedin the document and copies of their passports are included. The leak is one of the most important

pieces of investigative journalism in recent decades.

Unsurprisingly, no mainstream media outlets have covered the story. Instead, we continue to be told that the US is fighting IS or ISIS. But is there any reason to believe that the US and its allies are really fighting the Islamic State?

Origin of the Islamic State

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria was formed in 2006 in the US Camp Bucca prison in Iraq. A 2014 Guardian report revealedthat the group was formed in the prison under US supervision. Another Guardian report in November 2013 claimed the US was using Guantanamo Prison inCuba as a training ground for double agents. The prison facility used for this purpose wascalled Penny Lane, a reference to the eponymous Beatle’s song. The Guardian article stated that:

“The biggest fear, former officials involved with the programme recalled, was that a former detainee would attack Americans then publicly announce that he had been on the CIA payroll.”

It is noteworthy that the US military used allusions to the Beatles in their prison facilities. Penny Lane is a street in

Liverpool named after James Penny, a 19th-century slave trader. One cannot help speculate that the “shipping around” of US military-intelligence assets is what the US military had in mind when they set up Penny Lane secret facility.

The "Strawberry Fields" song was released simultaneously with "Penny Lane" in 1967. Critics have pointed out that "Strawberry Fields" contains occult symbolism. The song promotes drug-use and drop-out culture. In the 1950s and 60s the CIA ran programmes testing the effects of psychedelic drugs on the American population in orderto assess their utility for social control and military operations. CIA agents such as cultural guru Timothy Leary promoted drugs among America’s youth. It was ageneration of hedonism and narcissism which would producesome of contemporary world’s most ruthless capitalist overlords.

In 2001, the director of the Pentagon’s Office of Net Assessment, Andrew Marshall told Wire magazine that pharmacological warfare would be a central component of US military strategy in the followingdecade. The Armswatch report reveals that Atlas Air is one of the companies operating from Croatia where it undertakes the supply of narcotics on behalf of the US Government. It has been reported that many of the head-chopping terrorists in Syria use

amphetamines, notably Captagon. The drugs excite and desensitize the terrorists, encouraging them to commit atrocities. Could the Penny Laneand Strawberry Fields facilities in Guantanamo Bay be the laboratory where these narcotics are tested on future double agents?

During the 2011 Libyan War, Colonel Gaddafi said the rebels in Benghazi were Al-Qaeda and were using drugs. A close associate of Bin Laden, Abdelhakim Belhaj was made NATO commander of Tripoli after the fall of Gaddafi. Belhaj had previously been under US captivity for terrorism, and was accused by former Spanish Prime Minister José Maria Aznarof being the mastermind of the 2004 Madrid train bombings which killed 193 people and injured 2000. Former Guantanamo inmate Abu Sofian bin Qumu was also part of the NATO-backed coalition against Gaddafi in Libya.

But the US Government’s links to terrorists go back a long way. In October 2010, Fox News reported that Yemeni Al-Qaeda leader Anwar Al-Awlaki dined atthe Pentagon just months after the 2001 terrorists attacks in New York and Washington. FBI officials told the American news station that Pentagon officials were not interested in security concerns.

just months after the biggest terrorist attack in US history, makes the conspiracy theory thatthe US military is training terrorists rather than fighting them increasingly appear to be a conspiracy fact.

On 29 July 2005, former prosecutor for the US Justice Department, John Loftus told Fox News that the chief suspect in the July 2005 London bombings, Haroon Rashid Aswat, was an agent of MI6, the British Secret Service. He said they were protecting him and preventing his arrest by the Americans.

Loftus described a vast terrorist network operating in London called the Muhajiroun or Emigrants. It was the recruiting organisation for Al-Qaeda in Britain. MI6 used these terroriststo invade and destroy Yugoslaviaduring the 1990s, as NATO planned to break up the country into separate states. Loftus said:

The Kosovan fighters committedcountless atrocities against Serbsduring the Balkan wars but were hailed as “heroes” by the Western media, while the Serbs were demonized.

NATO had plans for the break-up of Yugoslavia that go back to the 1970s. In an interview shortly before he died, French General Pierre Marie Gallois, “father of the French atom bomb,” explained in detail how NATO had conspired to destroy the Yugoslav Federation. General Gallois described the disinformation campaign waged by the Western media which blamed Kosovo Liberation Armyatrocities on the Serbian army. The destruction of Yugoslavia would become a template for future wars of aggression waged by NATO against nations who refused to be subordinated to USmilitary, economic and strategic interests.

The invasion and destruction of Libya in 2011 and the ongoing war against Syria are the most recent examples of genocidal wars waged by the West but blamed on the victims. The vast and highly-financed network of NGOs and compliant media

outlets has been the key to keeping the Western public completely ignorant about the origin and nature of NATO’s “humanitarian” wars.

The US Bondsteel military base in Kosovo is the largest in Europe. An important Albanian source recently told me that the Bondsteel military base is being used as a training ground for the Mujahedeen Al Khalq, a terroristorganization which was used by the United States against Iran in the past and is now being revived for further terrorist operations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Several state media reports in Iraq and Iran have accused the United States and the UK of delivering arms to the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. There is no reason to believe they are lying, given the fact that top US officials admit IS is a tool of US geopolitics.

Former NATO commander General Wesley Clark - who stated in 2004 that the United States would “take out” 7 countries in five years - has admitted repeatedly that IS is an invention of US Persian Gulf allies for the geostrategic objective of defeating Iran and Hezbollah.

When it appeared that the Trumpadministration was about to change course and actually

eliminate the ISIS terrorists in Syria, the New York Times columnist Thomas L.Friedman complained, suggesting ISIS was of strategic value to the United States. When Donald Trump talks about “fake news”, he never refers to the fact that the mainstream media are supporting Islamist terrorists all over the world by calling them “moderate rebels” and “revolutionaries.”

In his 2015 presidential campaign, Donald Trump tweeted repeatedly about getting US forces out of Syria, and ending useless wars. But the wars have continued under his watch. On 20 December 2018, he said that “Russia, Iran, Syria & others are the local enemy of ISIS.”

If President Trump knows that Iran and the Syrian Government are fighting terrorism in the Middle East, why is the US Government preventing US intellectuals and officials -- many of whom support Trump --from attending New Horizons Conferences in Iran? The entire focus of the New Horizons Conferences I have attended has been the defeat of Islamist terrorism and the prospects for peaceful relations with the West.

To suggest that there is a “clash of civilizations” -- that the West is fighting a “war on terrorism” against an international network of ruthless killers bent on taking away our freedoms -- is to propagate the most asinine form of conspiracy theory. What I have written about here is simply the hard and disturbing evidence of a decades-long conspiracy by a global oligarchyof militants, Zionists and bankers to increase their power through genocide and

Could it be that my country is the only hurdle standing in the way of peace?

I was reading a report today from the learned author of “War and Empire: The American Way of Life,” Paul Atwood. The CounterPunch story about America’s Military-Industrial Complex (MIC) making blood money off endless wars is telling. Many of us have spotlighted the corporations that cripple any chance for world

peace, but none so effectively as Atwood. This passage encapsulates his argument on our endless war stance:

“In fact, the “permanentwarfare state” has been erected

on the backs of Americantaxpayers by fraudulent claims

of threats to our nationalsecurity. In the case of

“terrorists,” these adversarieswere the result of our owninterventions in Muslim

countries. In truth, no nation is,or ever has been, or ever will becapable of invading the U.S. orotherwise subjecting us to its

will.”

This leads me to another question, “How do you create anenemy, a terrorist?” I mean, if it is true the corporations that run Washington are behind our ceaseless conflicts, surely they used a prescription and a strategy. The broad view on this can be summed up by Danny Sjursen, who is a U.S. Army strategist and former history instructor at West Point. Sjursen identifies our policies as; “hyper-interventionist, highly militarized foreign policy (that )has defined Washington since at least the days of President Harry Truman.” At the heart of this argument is the new Trump National Defense Strategy that calls for about $1.7 trillion in new subs, nukes, and tech weapons to combat America’s foes new and old.

When you read these plans and assessments, you cannot help but

wonder if were are doomed to World War III no matter what. The whole system from the defense industry to military politics is disturbing to look at. Forget the staggering costs monetarily, the wasted human potential of this situation we are in boggles the mind. To make matters much worse, US Special Operations forces deployed to 75% of the world’s countries in 2017, but Islamic fundamentalistthreat groups continue to rise up as in the Africa case.

The short answer to the question of “creating terrorists” is blunt like a caveman club. You just kill their loved ones and then hand them some arms. I would add here, that pointing them at a convenient enemy like Syria’s Assad or Libya’s Gaddafi helps the game heat up too. Who can forget then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton bragging about killing Libya’s leader on CBS News with, “We came, we saw, he died,” back in 2011?

And America almost elected thispsychopath as president in 2016.Carrying this forward, the book “Washington Rules: America’s Path to Permanent War, by Andrew J. Bacevich brings to the forefront how Clinton and other American leaders unashamedly boast of exerting our power. In Clinton’s very firstforeign policy address, she cited the American revolution radical Thomas Paine’s call “We have it within our power to begin the world over again.” The power-hungry Clinton chided, “Today,

we are called up to use that power.” And we did. And the result was more chaos and terror.And more billions in profits for the militarists of the liberal world order.

Finally, the big lie of the perpetual militarist state is that Americans and the world’s peoples are safer. We are not safer, for safety under the yoke of the central police state is totally subjective. Who out therehas the capacity to invade the United States of America? What impediment is there the schemesof the lone terrorist bent on destruction inside our borders? These are questions the average citizen does not even ponder. Forif Jane or John Doe only knew the answers, then Raytheon or another war machine might lose market share.

In his book, Bacevich says Americans are blind to the significance of the perpetuated global hegemony. The author’s insightful look frames Americans’ consent to the state of “Semi-War” in this way:

“Like corruption or hypocrisy, the national security consensus has long since become part of the wall-paper of national life, attracting attention only when some especially maladroit escapade comes to light.”

The United States spends more on defense than all the countries of the world combined. We all know this. But what is obscured is the fact American taxpayers

are not spending money on defense but on offensive globalization. The $700 plus billion being spent to allegedly protect American, is actually being spent to perpetrate terrorism and conflict. And thereby, Washington’s policies actually endanger citizens. I leave you with another quote from Atwood, a prescription for humanity, as it were:

“Our nation as a whole muststop our investment in this massmurder machine or continue totake the fateful strides towardour own failure as a species.”

These protests have seen injurieson both sides and have now caught the eye of the world.

But the question is more nuanced than simply whether or not one supports the protests. After all, we have seen plenty of protests in the past that, at first glance, seemed legitimate, but unfortunately turned out to be merely tools of Western governments. So the first question is “Are the protests legitimate or are they a color revolution?” In 2019, it is no longer safe to assume that protesters are organic. However, it is also not safe to assume that

every action of civil unrest is because the United States has organized a coup.

The Back Story

Before we look into whether or not the protests are legitimate, it is important to understand the trigger for the demonstrations that are currently taking place. The first protests in Hong Kong began in response to a proposed extradition bill that would have seen individuals who are wantedin territories with which Hong Kong does not have an extradition agreement to be detained. Many of the opponentsof the bill felt that it would have placed both Hong Kongers and visitors to the territory essentially under the jurisdiction of mainland China, thus making the “one country, two systems” setup obsolete. Others, however, argued that the extradition bill made sense. After all, since it would be difficult to negotiate an extradition agreement with Taiwan or China, it would be useful to at least provide some sort of avenue for justice for individuals who committed crimes and subsequently crossedthe border to evade jail time or other punishment.

It is worth noting that the bill was submitted by the Hong Kong government. It is also worth pointing out the complexities of the “One country, two systems” agreementwhereby the British, after decades of imperialist rule over Hong Kong, ceded it back to

China in 1997. The British forced Beijing to accept a number of conditions such as theagreement that Hong Kong would draft a mini-Constitution and retain its capitalist system, own currency, legal and legislative system as well as individual rights and freedoms. However, this agreement was only to last for fifty years, when the agreement is set to expire and Hong Kong is to be fully returned to China in 2047.

The first protests began in late March and early April and gradually increased in June when hundreds of thousands of protesters entered the streets. June 12 saw an increase of violence with clashes between protesters and police, who brought out the tear gas and rubber bullets. An even larger march began on June 16. On July 1, hundreds of thousands of people turned out for the annual July marches and a number of these protesters split away from the main demonstration to break into the Legislative Council Complex where they vandalized a number of government symbols and briefly occupied thebuilding.

Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam suspended the bill on June 15, declaring it “dead” on July 9 though she did not clearly state that the bill would be withdrawn or not revisited. Executive Council members Regina Ip and Bernard CharnwutChan then stated publicly that the government would be

making no more concessions.

Protests have continued throughout the summer and haveresulted in increasingly violent confrontations between police and activists. In addition, pro-China “triad” members (organized crime) clashed with the protesters. A portion of the local residents also began to counter-protest the original protesters and clashes then brokeout between the two.

For instance, on July 21, a mob of men dressed in white shirts attacked protesters, travelers, and journalists at a Hong Kong train station, injuring 45 people and leaving the train station floor stained with blood.

Demands being made by the protesters have gradually increased in number. They have called for the following:

•An independent inquiry onpolice brutality•Release of arrested protesters•Retraction of the officialcharacterization of the protestsas “riots”•Direct elections for thepositions of LegislativeCouncil members and theChief Executive•Complete withdrawal of theextradition bill from thelegislative process•Resignation of Carrie Lam

Who Is Behind TheProtests?

As soon as protesters took to the streets, Chinese government officials were accusing the United States and its NGO networks of being behind the movement as an effort to weaken China and cause chaos in the process of eventual reunification. Many in the alternative media immediately began reporting on the color revolution taking place in Hong Kong while the mainstream Western press began praising theprotesters for their courage and criticizing the Hong Kong policefor their brutality.

So is there any evidence that the Hong Kong protests are controlled or being directed by the United States or its NGO community that has created so many color revolutions across the world? The short answer is yes.

For instance, one of the recognized leaders of the protest movement is Joshua Wong, who is a leader and secretary-general of the “Demosisto” party. Wong has consistently denied any linksto the United States and its NGOapparatus. However, Wong actually traveled to Washington DC in 2015, after the conclusionof the Hong Kong Umbrella Revolution to receive an award given to him from Freedom House, a subsidiary of the National Endowment for Democracy. Demosisto has beenlinked with the National Endowment for Democracy as well.

For those that may be unaware, the NED is an arm of the US State Department designed to sow discord in target countries resulting in the overthrow, replacement, or extraction of concessions from governments of target countries.

Indeed, Jonathan Mowat adds to the recent historical understanding of the controlled-coup and color revolutions in hisarticle, “The New Gladio In Action: ‘Swarming Adolescents,’” also focusing on the players and the methods of deployment. Mowat writes,

(NDI) and InternationalRepublican Institute (IRI),

played a central role. The NEDwas established by the ReaganAdministration in 1983, to doovertly what the CIA had donecovertly, in the words of one its

legislative drafters, AllenWeinstein. The Cold War

propaganda and operationscenter, Freedom House, now

chaired by former CIA directorJames Woolsey, has also beeninvolved, as were billionaire

George Soros’ foundations,whose donations always

dovetail those of the NED.

Nathan Law, another leader of the Hong Kong protests and rockstar of the Umbrella Revolution, is also closely connected to the National Endowment for Democracy. On the NED website, “World Movement for Democracy,” in a post entitled “Democracy Courage Tribute Award Presentation,” where the organization mentions an award it presented to Law. In the article, it states,

The Umbrella Movement’s boldcall in the fall of 2014 for a free

and fair election process toselect the city’s leaders broughtthousands into the streets to demonstrate peacefully. The images

from these protests havemotivated Chinese democracyactivists on the mainland andresulted in solidarity between

longtime champions ofdemocracy in Hong Kong and anew gen eration of Hong Kongyouth seeking to improve their

city. The Hong Kong democracymovement will face further

obstacles in the years to come,and their ide alism and bravery

will need to be supported as theywork for democratic

representation in Hong Kong.

Interestingly enough, Joshua Wong has shown up to express “solidarity” with other protest movements engineered by the United States and its NGO apparatus, particularly in Thailand where Western NGOs and the US State Department are

controlling both the protest movement and the former government.

Notably, these protests are receiving heavy media coverage as well as the ever-present logo (umbrellas), both hallmarks of color revolutions and social media giants Twitter and Facebook have accused China ofspreading disinformation via their accounts and have been removing or blocking pro-China accounts indicating that someone in the halls of power inthe West would like to see the protests continue.

So Why Does The USSupport The Protests?

The United States State Department and its subsidiary color revolution apparatus does not support protest movements because it supports right and freedom for people in other countries. After all, the US government as a whole does not

support rights and freedom for its own people. So, in full knowledge that the US government does support the Hong Kong protesters, the question then arises, “Why?”There are at least three reasons why the US is supporting the Hong Kong protest movement, none of which involve the rights of Hong Kongers. First, with China set to fully acquire Hong Kong in 2047 and growing integration between Hong Kong and China over the next three decades, the United States does not want to see China grow any stronger as an economic, military, or diplomatic powerhouse. The full return of Hong Kong to China would further Chinese growth in all three of these areas.Second, the United States benefits from a weaker Chinese government and one that is not able to fully impose control on every citizen within its borders. This is why the US has funded destabilization movements all across China, many with real concerns, as well as terrorist attacks in areas where China is planning to develop in the third world.

Lastly, Hong Kong currently acts as a tax haven for Western corporations and as a dumping ground for wealth that needs to avoid taxation. Chinese control may very well threaten that wealth, particularly in light of the fact that the Trump administration is moving forward on an apparent plan to put the United States on a more fair footing with China in terms

of international trade through tariffs and increased worker protections.

Geopolitical Concerns

In short, by maintaining Hong Kong as-is, the United States would maintain an outpost alongside China’s borders. However, China not only views Hong Kong as physical territory and financial wealth, it understands that, in a trade or real war with the United States, Hong Kong can be used to not only physically position militaryforces but it can also be used to economically loot the mainland.

It should be noted that China hasnever given up on the re-absorbing Taiwan and Hong Kong, even threatening to do so with military force if necessary.

Do The Protesters HaveLegitimate Concerns?

While the United States may be funding and directing many of the protest leaders in Hong Kong, the fact remains that the protesters themselves as well as the many people who support them have legitimate reasons to be protesting. Indeed, in the caseof Hong Kong, it appears that the nefarious American desire to weaken China and protect its corporate tax haven have intersected with the very real need of Hong Kongers to

preserve what’s left of the libertythey have.

In order to understand this, it is necessary to understand that there is a plethora of opinions onthe Hong Kong issue within Hong Kong itself. First, it seemsthe dividing line of opinions often centers around age, heritage, and geopolitics. From reading mainstream reports and watching a number of videos, it is apparent that the majority of protesters are young, even university-educated people who have lived their lives in Hong Kong while the counter protesters seem to be older, with a stronger heritage link to China.This older generation should not be conflated with oldest, however, as it appears that manyare from the “baby boomer” era more-so than the elderly generation before it. That being said, age is not a clear cut line ofdifference, however, with a number of younger and older people choosing to support opposite sides. Like any protest movement, the majority of the people of Hong Kong can be found going about their everyday business, teetering on the edges of any engagement whatsoever.

One such reason that the oldest and the youngest protesters seemto intersect, however, is, in the case of the oldest, a memory of what life was like in neighboringChina before the Cultural Revolution and the ability to watch that way of life change for

the worst and eventually horrific. The youngest members of the “anti-China” crowd may be viewing the issue similarly for the completely opposite reason, precisely the fact that they grew up in a time knowing nothing but freedoms their neighbors could scarcely dream of.

It is also important to point out the cultural difference in Hong Kong, which is essentially Chinese culture at heart, but one that has embraced capitalism andhas experienced rights that mainland Chinese people can only dream of. Based on Common Law, this includes the right to freedom of speech. As the Financial Times wrote in 2018,

For more than two decades,citizens and residents in the

former British colony of HongKong have enjoyed a wide range

of freedoms and legalprotections unthinkable in any

other part of the People’sRepublic of China. These

protections, guaranteed by theterritory’s tradition of judicialindependence, are the bedrock

of the city’s extraordinarysuccess as a regional entrepôt. It

is precisely because of theselegal safeguards that manyinternational companies,

including most global mediaorganisations, have chosen to

base their regional headquartersin Hong Kong.

As mentioned earlier, one reason

the “lease” of Hong Kong was pushed back for so long a time (to be fully realized in 2047) is because it would erase an entire generation of people who remembered what such little freedom was like compared to the zero freedom afforded by China. However, what was perhaps unintended was a birth of an entire generation of people who only knew that freedom andare not as keen to give it away asothers may have been. This is one reason you can see young people in the streets with signs supporting freedom of speech and even calling for the right to own and bear arms. In other words. you are able to see so many people who have been denied rights Americans take forgranted or are under threat of losing even more of their rights desperately trying to gain or retain them, all while many Americans march in the streets to have those same rights taken away. Clearly, it is true that freedom is treasured the most when it is lost.

This threat of Chinese takeover is very real. With its brutal authoritarian methods of control,social credit systems, slave laboreconomy, and polluted food supply, many young Hong Kongers are rightfully terrified of what “one country, one system” will mean for them. China is a communist nightmare,no matter how much Western leftists would like to portray otherwise.

Nowhere is there more clear an example of “Western” arrogancethan a widely-circulated video where an angry Australian lectures young Hong Kong protesters on how much “better everything is gonna be” when China takes over both Hong Kong and Taiwan. Coming from a country with virtually no rightsand doing business in another, it may be par for the course for him. But there is something incredibly irritating to watch his denial of these protesters’ legitimate concerns and his lecturing on the part of the authoritarian regime that will soon be in power.

This (the threat of quickly descending into the clutches of Chinese authoritarians) is the very real concern the Western NGOs have seized upon in orderto foster social unrest in Hong Kong.

Violence – ViolentCounter Protests

There have been numerous videos depicting violence coming from both sides of the isle. On one hand, violence on the Hong Kong side has been blamed on anarchists, often a typical method of specific types of anarchists as well as police false flagging in order to justify a crackdown. Other videos have surfaced showing protesters beating “journalists” and those who disagree with them. The justification given by the

protesters were that the individuals were “Chinese agents,” a claim that may or maynot be true.

Likewise, we have seen numerous videos of counter-protesters also engaging in violence against the Hong Kong protesters, many of whom being members of Hong Kong/Chineseorganized crime as mentioned earlier. The videos depicting police attacks against protesters have also been widely circulatedin the media.

Scale Of Protests VSCounter Protests

The Hong Kong protests have spread from Hong Kong itself toall across the world with the immigrant community engaging in demonstrations in their adopted countries. Likewise, counter-protests have expanded globally.

There is very little doubt that theprotests against greater Chinese involvement in Hong Kong havebeen much larger than those supporting it. One need only look at the numbers of the protests that took place on August 17 where 1.7 million people showed up to march.

What A Good OutcomeWould Look Like

To claim that the protesters have a legitimate cause while, at the same time, pointing out that the US is directing the leaders of their movement may seem contradictory but, unfortunately, it is not. It should be possible to any unbiased observer to understand that the protesters arejustified in their fear of being taken over by a country that just finished slaughtering 80 million people and that is currently oppressing each and every one of their citizens. It should also be possible to understand that the Western NGOs have seized upon this fear and desire for freedom for its own nefarious purposes. Only those who wish to promote an ideology would refuse to mention both aspects ofthe protests, something both the mainstream and alternative media outlets have unfortunatelybeen guilty of.

So with all this in mind, what would a positive outcome be?

1.) First, the United States must cease using its NGO community or intelligence agencies to direct and manipulate an uprising or unrest in Hong Kong. The futureof Hong Kong is for Hong Kongers to decide, not under themanipulation of Western NGOs. The US must immediately cease fostering dissent in other nations. If the US wants to counter Chinese empire, it must do so by offering economic and other incentives and not by threats, social unrest, or violence.

2.) None of the protesters’ demands thus far are unreasonable. There should be an independent inquiry as to the techniques being used by police, police brutality, and the connections these tactics have tothe growing Chinese influence inHong Kong. Protesters who havebeen arrested for their political views (not those arrested for offensive violence, rioting, or peddlers of foreign influence) should be released. While official categorizations are no issue to fixate upon, the protests should be reclassified as what they are, protests. Elections should be instituted and the people of Hong Kong should elect their Legislative Council and Chief Executive directly. Withdraw the extradition bill completely from consideration until a reasonable proposal can be drafted, discussed, and agreedupon. Carrie Lam is widely known as a tool of Beijing and, for this reason, a gradual, orderly, and democratic transition of power should take place.

In addition, while not official protest demands, the solidification of the rights to freespeech, expression, possession of weapons, and privacy should take place.

3.) Just as the United States should stop inserting itself into the domestic life of Hong Kong, so should China immediately cease any and all attempts to

control public opinion, social discourse, and political life in Hong Kong. Because of China’s lack of human rights within its own borders, there is a legitimate reason for Hong Kongto desire complete separation from the mainland. Thus, if China is not interested in becoming a free society, the “One country, two systems” policy must be extended abandoned and Hong Kong should remain independent.

Conclusion

By now, it should be relatively clear that many of the leaders of the Hong Kong protests are controlled and directed via the network of United States intelligence agencies and NGO apparatus for the purpose of protecting its corporate tax haven, keeping a friendly outpost on the Chinese border, and sowing seeds of discord within China itself.

However, the protesters are absolutely right in their concern for what will happen if they become part of China – i.e., another human tragedy that is the result of Communist authoritarianism exhibited by theChinese government.

Thus, both the official and the mentioned unofficial demands are entirely reasonable. The people of Hong Kong must not be forced to live oppressed under authoritarian Chinese rule.Because the US has its own interests that do not involve freedom or human rights, it

would be wise of the Hong Kong protests to abandon their Western-backed opposition leaders and find real organic leaders that are not taking ordersfrom the West.

They should, however, continue to press for the rights they have and the rights they deserve.

In her new documentary film, Gaza Fights for Freedom (https://gazafightsforfreedom.com/), journalist Abby Martin places the Gaza Strip under a microscope for the viewers to see. The result is an excellent movie that is difficult to watch, and disturbing at times, preciselybecause it presents a true, realistic view of life in Gaza. The movie shows how a small, courageous nation — locked up in the world’s largest concentration camp, facing inexcusable, unjustifiable and unforgivable violence — refusesto give up on its hopes and dreams and continues to fight forlife.

Nothing left but bones

Heroism and cliches aside, the conditions in the Gaza Strip are horrifying. As one father interviewed in the movie says: “We are alive only by name… Gaza is no longer Gaza; all that is left of it are bones.” He may be referring to the distant past when the city of Gaza was one of the most important, prosperous and prestigious citiesnot only in Palestine but in the entire Middle East.

Perhaps what is most refreshing about Martin’s work is that the voices one hears are clear, authentic, Gazan voices. She makes no attempt to create the artificial “balance” one too oftenhas to endure in movies and reports about Palestine in general and Gaza in particular. As though the Israelis who kill and maim and keep 2.2 million civilians caged and under siege in the Gaza Strip have a right to be heard. As though an explanation or justification can be given to the sheer cruelty and brutality exercised by Israel.

More than just bombs

Israel kills people in Gaza in more ways than one might imagine. While bombs make the headlines, the other methods are more subtle and rarely make it tothe headlines. In Gaza Fights forFreedom, all of these draconian methods are brought to light.

Here are a few examples:

•It is no secret that if we want to kill people, other than shooting them, denying them water is a sure bet. Some 98 percent of the freshwater in the Gaza Strip is toxic and unfit for human consumption. •Food insecurity has been the reality in Gaza for many years. Israel allows only enough food to enter so as to avoid total starvation. Similar to the German policy of counting calories in the concentration camps duringWorld War II, Israel too uses calorie counting in Gaza.•Electricity is available only sporadically and people go for 16 to 20 hours per day with no power. This means water pumps do not work. The danger of fire increases dueto the extensive use of candlelight; medicine that requires refrigeration goes bad. Operation rooms in hospitals cannot function.•Access to health care is denied. While excellent health care facilities are available just a few short miles from the Gaza Strip, only Israelis and a very fewPalestinians are given access. One example of the devastating results of this can be seen by comparing breast cancer survival rates,which among Israeli women are up to 86 percentbut in the Gaza Strip are only 30 percent.

•When Israel bombs Gaza one usually hears the casualty count and little notice is given to those who are injured. However,without access to proper facilities the wounded are,as Abby Martin puts it, “sentenced to a slow and painful end.”

Savages

Israel’s foremost talk-show host and “journalist” Yaron London recently said on Israeli televisionthat Arabs as a whole are savages and that the Arab cultureis savagery. Gaza Fights for Freedom accomplishes several important objectives, not the least of which is showing a cleardistinction between the two competing, opposing parties in this story. On the one side the Israeli savagery and its well oiled PR machine and on the other the bare-chested Palestinians — men, women andchildren who are literally sacrificing life and limb so that the world will hear their cry for freedom.

On the one hand, Israeli tanks and troops waving Israeli flags. The clean-cut well-spoken, Israeli spokesmen and -women trained by Hasbara experts that have taken control over the corporate media spew their well-rehearsed lies, telling a story about terrorists that they call Khamas and about people who they say fell prey to Khamas’ lies and are sacrificed on the altar of Khamas’ goal of

inflicting death and destruction on Jews.

On the other side, Palestinians who lost nearly everything, speaking from the heart. In an honest, articulate, and measured way, young and old talk about their desire for freedom, their losses and their willingness to fight for it. As though they have a choice. It isn’t as though if Palestinians in Gaza sat quietly and did nothing they would be spared the death and destruction inflicted by Israeli savagery. Thepast seven decades have shown that Palestinians are killed regardless of whether they stand and fight or lie in their beds sleeping.

Razan Al-Najjar

In Gaza Fights for Freedom, Martin describes several groups that are supposed to be given protection under international law but in reality are not: children, people with disabilities, journalists, and medical teams such as paramedics. Israel has targeted, injured and killed Palestinians belonging to all of these groups. When on June 2, 2018, Razan Al-Najjar, a young female paramedic was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper, her death was a moment — just a single moment — in which the world seemed to stop and pay attention. Maybe because she was a woman, maybe because she was young, maybe because she was beautiful, and maybe because all of the above, she could not be painted as anything

but innocent. Yet a sniper took aim and shot her.

“This was the first time sheparticipated in an action, in a

march, because this was apeaceful activity [in which] we

all participated; even Iparticipated in the March,”

The emergency medical crews inGaza were, and continue to be nothing if not heroic, going far beyond the call of duty, day in and day out as the casualty countcontinues to grow. Razan was there from day one and her dedication and sacrifice moved the world — though again, only for a brief moment.

A small brave nation

The great Palestinian writer, political leader and martyr, Ghassan Kanafani, whom I oftenquote, in his now-famous interview from 1970 said that the Palestinians are “a strong brave nation” and that they will go on fighting for their cause and their rights. If anyone had any doubt that this was indeed the case, Abby Martin’s film, Gaza Fights for Freedom (https://gazafightsforfreedom.com/) will put that doubt to rest.

As new studies continue to pointto a direct link between the widely-used glyphosate herbicide and various forms of cancer, the agribusiness lobby fights ferociously to ignore or discredit evidence of human and other damage. A second US court jury case just ruled that Monsanto, now a part of the German Bayer AG, must pay $ 81 million in damages to plaintiff Edwin Hardeman who contracted non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma cancer. The ruling and a line-up of another 11,000 pending cases in US courts going after the effects of glyphosate, have hit Bayer AG hard with the company announcing several thousand layoffs as its stock price plunges.

In a trial in San Francisco the jury was unanimous in their verdict that Monsanto Roundup weed-killer, based on glyphosate, had been responsiblefor Hardeman’s cancer. His attorneys stated,

“It is clear from Monsanto’sactions that it does not care

whether Roundup causes cancer,focusing instead on

manipulating public opinion andundermining anyone who raisesgenuine and legitimate concerns

about Roundup.”

It is the second defeat for the lawyers of Monsanto after another jury ruled in 2018 that Glyphosate-based Roundup was responsible for the cancer illnessof a California school grounds-keeper who contracted the same form of cancer after daily spraying school grounds with Roundup over years, unprotected. There a jury found Monsanto guilty of “malice and oppression” in that company executives, based on internal email discovery, knew that their glyphosate products could cause cancer and suppressed this information from the public.

A new independent study shows that those with highest exposure to glyphosate have a 41% increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) cancer. A meta-analysis of six studies containing nearly 65,000 participants looked at links between glyphosate-based herbicides and immune-suppression, endocrine disruption and genetic alterations. The authors found “the same key finding: exposure to GBHs (glyphosate-based herbicides) are associated with an increased risk of NHL (Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma).” Further, they stated that glyphosate “alters the gut microbiome,” and that that could“impact the immune system, promote chronic inflammation, and contribute to the susceptibility of invading pathogens.” Glyphosate also ”may act as an endocrine disrupting chemical because it has been found recently to alter

sex hormone production” in bothmale and female rats.

In a long-term animal study by French scientists under Gilles Eric Seralini, Michael Antoniou and associates, it was demonstrated that even ultra-lowlevels of glyphosate herbicides cause non-alcoholic liver disease. The levels the rats were exposed to, per kg of body weight, were far lower than whatis allowed in our food supply. According to the Mayo Clinic, today, after four decades or morepervasive use of glyphosate pesticides, 100 million, or 1 out of 3 Americans now have liver disease. These diagnoses are in some as young as 8 years old.

But glyphosate is not only having alarming effects on human health. Soil scientists are beginning to realize the residues of glyphosate application are also having a possibly dramatic effect on soil health and nutrition, effects that can take years to restore.

Killing Soils too

While most attention is understandably drawn to the human effects of exposure to glyphosate, the most widely used agriculture chemical in the world today, independent scientists are beginning to look at another alarming effect of the agrochemical– its effect on essential soil nutrients. In a study of the health of soils in theEU, the online journal Politico.eu found that the effects of spraying of glyphosate on the

major crops in European agriculture is having disastrous consequences on soil health in addition to killing weeds.

Scientists at Austria’s Universityof Natural Resources and Life Sciences in Vienna showed that casting activity of earthworms had nearly disappeared from the surface of farmland within three weeks of glyphosate application.Casting is the process of the worm pushing fertile soils to the surface as they burrow, essential for healthy soil and plant nutrition. A study at Holland’s Wageningen University of topsoil samples from more than 300 soil sites across the EU found that 83% of the soils contained 1 or more pesticide residues. Not surprisingly,

“Glyphosate and its metaboliteAMPA, DDTs (DDT and its

metabolites) and broad-spectrum fungicides… were the

compounds most frequentlyfound in soil samples and at the

highest concentrations.”

The use of various pesticides, above all glyphosate-based ones like Roundup, has exploded overthe past four decades across the EU much as across the USA. The agribusiness industry claimsthat this has been the key to the dramatic rise in farm crop productivity. However if we look more closely at the data, while average yields of major grains such as rice, wheat and maize have more than doubled since 1960, the use of pesticides like glyphosate-based ones has risen by 15-20-fold. Oddly

enough, while the EU requires monitoring of many things, monitoring of pesticide residues in soil is not required at the EU level. Until recently the effects of heavy use of pesticides such as Roundup have been ignored in scientific research.

Evidence of soil experts is beginning to reveal clear links between use of pesticides such as glyphosate and dramatic drops in soil fertility and the collapse of microbe systems essential to healthy soil. Worms are one of the most essential.

It’s well-established that earthworms play a vital role in healthy soil nutrients. Soils lacking such are soils that deprive us of the essentials we need for healthy diets, a pandemic problem of soil depletion emerging globally over the past four decades, notably the same time frame thatuse of pesticides has exploded worldwide. Earthworms are beneficial as they enhance soil nutrient cycling and enhance other beneficial soil micro-organisms, and the concentrationof large quantities of nutrients easily assimilable by plants.

The EU puts no limits on how much glyphosate can be put on crops even though it is established that glyphosate can kill specific fungi and bacteria that plants need to suck up nutrients in addition to its effectson earthworms. That is a major blind spot.

Where now?

What is becoming clearer is the colossal and obviously deliberate official blind eye given to potential dangers of glyphosate-based pesticides by regulatory bodies not only in theEU and the USA, but also in China, which today produces more glyphosate than even Monsanto. Since the Monsanto Roundup patent expired, Chinese companies, including Syngenta, Zhejiang Xinan Chemical Industrial Group Company, SinoHarvest, and Anhui Huaxing Chemical Industry Company, have emerged as the world’s major producers of the chemical as well as largest consumers, a not good omen for the future of the legendary Chinese cuisine.

Glyphosate is the base chemical component for some 750 different brands of pesticides worldwide, in addition to Monsanto-Bayer’s Roundup. Glyphosate residues have been found in tap water, orange juice, children’s urine, breast milk, chips, snacks, beer, wine, cereals, eggs, oatmeal, wheat products, and most conventional foods tested. It’s everywhere, in brief.

Despite the overwhelming evidence, however, EU Commission bureaucrats and theUSA EPA continue to ignore prudence in not banning the toxic chemical pending thoroughindependent investigation over longer time. If I were cynical, I would almost think this continued official support for

glyphosate-based herbicides is about more than mere bureaucratic stupidity or ignorance, even more than simply corruption, though that for sure plays a role. The nutritional quality of our food chain is being systematically destroyed and it is about more than corporate agribusiness profit.

attention? Why are they ridiculed and character assassinated by the mainstream? What is going on here?The climate is changing, and it has been changing for a very long time. In fact, the climate has always been changing, and there are a myriad of factors thatinfluence climate change like solar activity and much more. If you’re not educated on climate science, it’s easy to adopt the “doomsday” perspective that’s often dished out by mainstream media. However, when you look at what actual climate scientists are saying, it doesn’t seem like anyone on either side agrees with the media’s “climate hysteria” narrative.

The main argument among thosewho ascribe to the hysteria perspective is that CO2 levels are the highest they’ve ever beensince we started to record them, currently sitting at approximately 415 parts per million (ppm). It’s not like climate scientists disagree on theidea that CO2 causes some warming of our atmosphere, thatseems to be a fact that’s firmly established in scientific literature. But what’s never mentioned is the fact that CO2 levels have been significantly higher than what they are now; in fact, CO2 levels have been in thousands ppm and Earth’s temperature has been much warmer than it is now. The idea that human CO2 emissions are responsible for shifts and changes in the climate is not scientifically valid, yet policy

initiatives that do nothing for ourenvironment are being produced and put forward, putting large sums of money in the pockets of some very powerful people.

Our crop plants evolved about400 million years ago, whenCO2 in the atmosphere was

about 5000 parts per million!Our evergreen trees and shrubsevolved about 360 million yearsago, with CO2 levels at about

4,000 ppm. When our deciduoustrees evolved about 160 millionyears ago, the CO2 level wasabout 2,200 ppm – still five

times the current level. – DennisT. Avery, agricultural and

CO2 causing a temperature increase is the backbone of the global warming argument, but does CO2 even cause the temperature to increase, or does an increase in temperature cause a rise in C02?

“The question is how does theIntergovernmental Panel on

Climate Change (IPCC)determine that an increase inatmospheric CO2 causes an

increase in global temperature?The answer is they assumed it

was the case and confirmed it byincreasing CO2 levels in theircomputer climate models and

the temperature went up.Science must overlook the factthat they wrote the computer

code that told the computer toincrease temperature with a

CO2 increase. Science must askif that sequence is confirmed by

empirical evidence? Somescientists did that and found the

empirical evidence showed itwas not true. Why isn’t thiscentral to all debate about

William Happer, American physicist and the Cyrus Fogg Brackett Professor of Physics, Emeritus, at Princeton University, is one of what seems to be thousands of academics to go unheard by the mainstream media who shares the same perspective:

In every careful study, thetemperature first rises and thenCO2 rises, and the temperaturefirst falls and then CO2 falls,

temperature is causing changesof CO2 at least for the last

million years, there’s noquestion about that.

He also pointed out the major iceages in Earth’s past when C02 levels were also extremely high, much higher than they are now, and did so to show how the correlation between C02 and temperature is “not all that good.”

In their paper on the Vostok Ice Core, Petit et al (1999), they show how CO2 lags temperatureduring the onset of glaciations by several thousands of years, but offer no explanation. They also observe that CH4 and CO2

are not perfectly aligned with each other, but offer no explanation. The significance is that temperature may influence C02 amounts. At the onset of glaciations, temperature drops toglacial values before CO2 beginsto fall, suggesting that CO2 has little influence on temperature modulation at these times as well.

In 1988, the NASA scientist James Hansen told the US Senate that the summer’s warmth reflected increased carbon dioxide levels. Even Science magazine reported that the climatologists were skeptical.

The reason we now take thisposition as dogma is due topolitical actors and others

seeking to exploit theopportunities that abound in the

multi-trillion dollar energysector. One person who

benefited from this was MauriceStrong, a global bureaucrat andwheeler-dealer (who spent hisfinal years in China apparentlytrying to avoid prosecution for

his role in the UN’s Oil for Foodprogram scandals). Strong is

frequently credited withinitiating the global warmingmovement in the early 1980s,and he subsequently helped toengineer the Rio Conference

that produced the UNFramework Convention on

Climate Change. Others likeOlaf Palme and his friend, Bert

Bolin, who was the firstchairman of the

Intergovernmental Panel onClimate Change, were also

Since 1999, this theory has been discussed in numerous scientific papers, but not one shred of evidence exists to confirm that a CO2 increase causes ‘extreme warming.’

Doubling CO2 involves a 2%perturbation to this budget. So

do minor changes in clouds andother features, and such changes

are common. In this complexmultifactor system, what is the

likelihood of the climate (which,itself, consists in many variablesand not just globally averaged

temperature anomaly) iscontrolled by this 2%

perturbation in a singlevariable? Believing this is pretty

close to believing in magic.Instead, you are told that it isbelieving in ‘science.’ Such aclaim should be a tip-off thatsomething is amiss. After all,science is a mode of inquiry

rather than a belief structure.The accumulation of false

and/or misleading claims isoften referred to as the

‘overwhelming evidence’ forforthcoming catastrophe.

Without these claims, one mightlegitimately ask whether there is

this system. The climate, acomplex multifactor system, can

be summarized in just onevariable, the globally averaged

temperature change, and is

primarily controlled by the 1-2% perturbation in the energy

extraordinary pair of claimsbased on reasoning that borders

on magical thinking. It is,however, the narrative that has

been widely accepted, evenamong many sceptics. This

acceptance is a strong indicatorof the problem Snow identified.Many politicians and learned

societies go even further: Theyendorse carbon dioxide as the

controlling variable, andalthough mankind’s CO2contributions are small

compared to the much larger butuncertain natural exchangeswith both the oceans and thebiosphere, they are confidentthat they know precisely what

The quotes above comes from Richard Lindzen, an atmosphericphysicist who has published more than 200 scientific papers and books. He was the Alfred P. Sloan Professor of Meteorology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and he is actually the lead author of Chapter 7, “Physical Climate Processes andFeedbacks,” of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Third Assessment Report on climate change (the organization that’s pushing the global warming and climate change agenda).

A number of times, Lindzen and many others have been quite

outspoken regarding the conclusions of this document that are drawn by politicians, notscientists. There will be more onthat later in the article.

According to Dr. Leslie Woodcock, emeritus professor atthe University of Manchester (UK) School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science, is a former NASA scientist:

The term ‘climate change’ ismeaningless. The Earth’s

climate has been changing sincetime immemorial, that is sincethe Earth was formed 1,000

million years ago. The theory of‘man-made climate change’ isan unsubstantiated hypothesis

[about] our climate [which saysit] has been adversely affectedby the burning of fossil fuels inthe last 100 years, causing the

average temperature on theearth’s surface to increase very

slightly but with disastrousenvironmental consequences.

The theory is that the CO2emitted by burning fossil fuel isthe ‘greenhouse gas’ causing‘global warming’ — in fact,

water is a much more powerfulgreenhouse gas and there is 20

times more of it in ouratmosphere (around one per

cent of the atmosphere) whereasCO2 is only 0.04 per cent. There

is no reproducible scientificevidence CO2 has significantlyincreased in the last 100 years.

Anecdotal evidence doesn’tmean anything in science, it’s

not significant…

In the IPCC documents, we can see how tenuous the link between climate change and CO2 emissions are, specifically in their findings titled ‘Climate Change 2001: The Scientific Basis.’ Here was one of their recommendations:

Explore more fully theprobabilistic character of future

climate states by developingmultiple ensembles of model

calculations. The climate systemis a coupled non-linear chaoticsystem, and therefore the long-term prediction of future exactclimate states is not possible.Rather the focus must be upon

the prediction of the probabilitydistribution of the system’sfuture possible states by thegeneration of ensembles of

model solutions.

If we go back to the 1995 2nd Assessment Report of the UN IPCC, we can see how much the agenda overshadowed and muted the actual science. The scientists included these three statements in the draft:

1.“None of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can attribute the observed (climate) changes to the specific cause of increases ingreenhouse gases.”

2.“No study to date has positively attributed all or part (of observed climate change) to anthropogenic (i.e. man-made) causes.”

3.“Any claims of positive detection of significant climate

change are likely to remain controversial until uncertainties in the natural variability of the climate system are reduced.”

The “Summary” and conclusion statement of the IPCC report was written by politicians, not scientists. The rules force the ‘scientists’ to change their reports to match the politicians’ final ‘Summary.’ Those three statements by ‘scientists’ above were replaced with this:

1.“The balance of evidence suggests a discernible human influence on global climate.”

Here’s another great point made by Lindzen:

The 97 Percent ClaimThe mainstream media and people who support the idea that humans are warming the planet often quote the fact that ’97 percent of scientists agree with them.’ First of all, this is not

true, and again, we don’t know ifhumans are warming the planet.

This claim is actually a come-down from the 1988 claim on

the cover of Newsweek that allscientists agree. In either case,the claim is meant to satisfy thenon-expert that he or she has noneed to understand the science.Mere agreement with the 97%

will indicate that one is asupporter of science and

superior to anyone denyingdisaster. This actually satisfies a

psychological need for manypeople. The claim is made by anumber of individuals and thereare a number of ways in which

the claim is presented. Athorough debunking has been

given in the Wall Street Journalby Bast and Spencer. One of thedodges is to poll scientists as to

whether they agree that CO2levels in the atmosphere haveincreased, that the Earth hasbeen warming (albeit only a

little) and that man has playedsome part. This is, indeed,

something almost all of us canagree on, but which has no

obvious implication of danger.Nonetheless this is portrayed as

support for catastrophism.Other dodges involve looking at

a large number of abstractswhere only a few actually deal

with danger. If among these few,97% support catastrophism, the97% is presented as pertainingto the much larger totality of

abstracts. One of my favorites isthe recent claim in the Christian

Science Monitor (a oncerespected and influential

newspaper): “For the record, ofthe nearly 70,000 peer-reviewed

articles on global warmingpublished in 2013 and 2014,four authors rejected the idea

that humans are the maindrivers of climate change.” I

don’t think that it takes an expertto recognize that this claim is a

bizarre fantasy for manyobvious reasons. – Richard

The Other Side of TheCoin

A 2013 study in Environmental Research Letters claimed that 97% of climate scientists agreed with the ‘humans changing the climate’ narrative in 12,000 academic papers that contained the words “global warming” or “global climate change” from 1991 to 2011. Not long ago, that paper hit 1m downloads, makingit the most accessed paper ever among the 80+ journals published by the Institute of Physics (as Lindzen mentions above, many of these papers are

being published by scientists outside of climate physics), according to the authors.

A recent article that presents more scientific studies was published in the Guardian, titled ‘No Doubt Left About Scientific Consensus on Global Warming, say experts.’

Why So Much ConflictingInformation?

Obviously, there is an ongoing debate surrounding climate change, and many people still think something fishy is going on here. It’s similar to the vaccines argument, or a host of other issues that never receive any attention from the mainstream media. Instead of presenting the concerns of scientists from the other side, or the side often labelled ‘skeptics,’these scientists are often heavily ridiculed by mainstream media.

A great example is this dialogue,which is quite old now, between Lindzen and Bill Nye. It’s not hard to see that Nye has no idea what he is talking about, and he’s simply being used because, at that time, he had a large following.

The reason why so many people are unaware of the arguments made by climate ‘skeptics’ is because their points are never presented by mainstream media in the same way the other side’s are. The media controls the minds of the masses, but thankfully this is changing.

If the people in power, with all of their resources, really wanted to change the planet, it would have happened by now.

While our focus is on CO2, not nearly enough attention and resources are going into re-planting our planet, cleaning up our fresh water lakes and oceans,and changing our manufacturing

habits to cause less waste and less pollution. If anything, this should be our main focus, especially when it’s not really clear that C02 is an issue.

Environmental and species protection should be our first priority, but it’s not. I believe this green revolution is a distraction and, in many ways, further harms our environment by taking our focus off of what’sreally important and putting it onsomething that is not impacting our planet in a negative way.

The Rockefeller Report

In the 1980s, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund became the sole authority of the global warming agenda. The fund boasts of beingone of the first major global activists by citing its strong advocacy for both the 1988 formation of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the 1992 creation of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The global elite have alwaysbenefited in some way shape orform from crises, we’ve seen itover and over again with war.

What is important, however, isto acknowledge the role of the

Rockefeller family –whichhistorically was the architect of“Big Oil”– in supporting the

Climate Change debate as wellas the funding of scientists,

environmentalists and NGOsinvolved in grassroots activism

against “Big Oil” and the fossilfuel industry.

Debate on the world’s climate isof crucial importance. But who

controls that debate?

“Big Oil” through theRockefeller Family and

An Example of OtherFactors Influencing TheClimate – A Coming Ice

Age?

Nils-Axel Mörner from the Paleogeophysics and Geodynamics Institute states,

By about 2030-2040, the Sunwill experience a new grand

solar minimum. This is evidentfrom multiple studies of quitedifferent characteristics: the

phasing of sunspot cycles, thecyclic observations of North

Atlantic behaviour over the past

millennium, the cyclic pattern ofcosmogenic ra-dionuclides in

natural terrestrial archives, themotions of the Sun with respect

to the centre of mass, theplanetary spin-orbit coupling,

the planetary conjunctionhistory and the general

planetary solar terrestrialinteraction. During the previous

grand solar minima—i.e. theSpörer Minimum (ca 1440-

1460), the Maunder Minimum(ca 1687-1703) and the DaltonMinimum (ca 1809-1821)—theclimatic conditions deteriorated

into Little Ice Age periods.

The idea that solar activity is notaffecting Earth’s climate is extremely fishy and doesn’t make much sense when you go through the literature, but it seems to be brushed off within mainstream academia, and hardly studied. It definitely made me scratch my head when IFL Science, for example, put out a statement saying “The Sun simply does not have that large an effect on our climate compared to human activity.” This is a very ridiculous and irresponsible statement. It’s also important that readers recognize there isn’t even any course to back up such a false claim.

Don’t believe what is written, research what is written. What’s worse is the ridicule factor, the way mainstream publications attack any narrative that presentsan explanation for climate change that is not human induced. Something is very wrong with this picture, regardless of your stance on the

‘global warming’ phenomenon. There is more on this later in the article.

So as you can see, the comment from IFL science quoted above, again, is simply not true. I’ve provided one of many sources available here, and I encourage other writers to do the same.

The author goes on to conclude:

be in possession of quiteconvergent data…This precludesa continual warming as claimedby the IPCC project, instead ofthis, we are likely to face a new

Little Ice Age.

According to the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS,

A new model of the Sun’s solarcycle is producing

unprecedentedly accuratepredictions of irregularities

within the Sun’s 11-year

heartbeat. The model draws ondynamo effects in two layers ofthe Sun, one close to the surface

and one deep within itsconvection zone. Predictionsfrom the model suggest that

solar activity will fall by 60 percent during the 2030s to

conditions last seen during the‘mini ice age’ that began in

1645.

A few years ago, the National Astronomy Meeting in Wales was held, where Valentina Zharkova, a mathematics professor from Northumbria University (UK), presented a model that can predict what solar cycles will look like far more accurately than was previously possible. She states that the model can predict their influence with an accuracy of 97percent, and says it is showing that Earth is heading for a “mini ice age” in approximately fifteenyears.

Zharkova and her team came up with the model using a method called “principal component analysis” of the magnetic field observations, from the Wilcox Solar Observatory in California. Looking forward to the next fewsolar cycles, her model predicts that from 2030 to 2040 there will be cause for a significant reduction in solar activity, whichagain, will lead to a mini ice age.According to Zharkova. Again, these are just a few examples of multiple scientists pointing to these facts.

Many things in our world, including science, have become extremely corrupted. We see it with medical science and the influence from big pharma, and

Dissident Israeli scholar Nurit Peled-Elhanan’s important academic study, “Palestine in Israeli School Books” (https://electronicintifada.net/content/book-review-how-israeli-school-textbooks-teach-kids-hate/11571) is essential reading for anyone who wants to understand some important

realities about the Israeli state and Israeli society.

As a settler-colonial entity, real change can never come from within Israeli society. It must be imposed from the outside. Muchlike white South Africans, Jewish Israelis will never voluntarily give up their privileged position as settlers.

South African apartheid was defeated by the masses of South Africa (with the support of somewhite dissidents), and their political leaders, in alliance with a global solidarity campaign.

In the same way, Israeli apartheid will be defeated by thePalestinian struggle. This struggle is supported by a minority of Israeli dissidents, and by the international solidarity movement – especiallythe Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

Peled-Elhanan’s book was a major study of 17 Israeli school textbooks on history, geography and civic studies. As you can seefrom what she says in the interview above, she came to some stark conclusions.

When they even mention Palestinians at all, Israel’s official schoolbooks teach a “racist discourse”, which quite literally wipes Palestine off the map. Maps in the schoolbooks only ever show “the Land of

Israel”, from the river to the sea.

She explained that not a single one of the schoolbooks included “any positive cultural or social aspect of Palestinian life-world: neither literature nor poetry, neither history nor agriculture, neither art nor architecture, neither customs nor traditions are ever mentioned.”

Of the rare times that Palestinians are mentioned, it is in an overwhelmingly negative and stereotypical fashion: “all [the books] represent [Palestinians] in racist icons or demeaning classificatory imagessuch as terrorists, refugees and primitive farmers — the three ‘problems’ they constitute for Israel.”

She concluded that the children’sschoolbooks “present Israeli-Jewish culture as superior to the Arab-Palestinian one, Israeli-Jewish concepts of progress as superior to the Palestinian-Arab way of life and Israeli-Jewish behaviour as aligning with universal values.”

All this is quite the opposite of the stereotypical and misleading story about children’s schoolbooks in Palestine. The books printed by the Palestinian Authority since the 1990s are frequently portrayed in anti-Palestinian demonology as putting forth the worst anti-Semitic calumnies about Jewish people.

Overall, this narrative is a crude fabrication instigated by anti-Palestinian propaganda groups, such as that run by Israeli settler Itamar Marcus and his “Palestinian Media Watch”.

Peled-Elhanan’s book comprehensively demolished a second, complementary, Israeli myth: that Israelis – by way of contrast to the dastardly Palestinians – instead “teach love thy neighbour”, to quote Israel’s war criminal ex-foreign minister Tzipi Livni.

Seven years ago, when Peled-Elhanan’s book was published, she warned that, in contrast to liberal hopes for change from within Israeli society, things were moving “backwards and backwards” and that the then-current textbooks were little more than “military manifests”.

“We have three generations of students who don’t even know where the borders,” between the West Bank and the rest of historic Palestine are, she despaired in the interview above,filmed back in 2011.

Seven years on from the book’s publication, things have only got

progressively worse.

That can be seen in the video that circulated on social media this week of young Israeli soldiers celebrating and cheeringafter they dynamited Palestinian homes east of Jerusalem. Those same soldiers are a product of Israel’s education system.

As Israel’s violent oppression of an entire indigenous people become more and more blatant for the world to see, so public opinion is increasingly shifting against Israel – even among the previously supportive voter and activist base of the Democratic Party in the US.

As Israel can rely less and less on outside support, it becomes more important for the apartheidstate to circle the wagons, and ensure the next generation of settlers and soldiers are inculcated into the Israeli state’s official ideology – Zionism.

Last month it emerged that Israelhas begun requiring all high school students – including those Palestinians who are second-class “citizens” of Israel – to pass an online government propaganda course before they can participate in overseas trips.

According to the Palestinian human rights group Adalah, the course “promotes racist ideology”, brainwashing students with the myth that

Palestinians are inherently violent savages.

Adalah says that one question asks: “How do Palestinian organizations use digital social networks?” The required answer is “encouraging violence.”

heading into the July Federal Reserve meeting – The Fed was going to cut rates by a respectable margin, or they weregoing to cut incrementally and promise the markets through thinly veiled language that QE4 was well on the way. This was supposed to be a certainty.

They did not get what they were hoping for, but I don’t think many people understand why theFed did what they did.

I have long held that the Fed has no intention of kicking the can on the economic crash that is currently underway, and that the Fed’s tightening cycle was a wayto restrict liquidity into economic weakness in order to trigger the collapse of the “Everything Bubble”. I predictedover the past two years that the Fed would keep liquidity conditions tight until right before or right after an accelerated crash in fundamentals and markets. The crash in fundamentals has already begun in 2018 and 2019.A return to incremental crash conditions in stock markets has also now likely started.

While I believed the central bank would hold rates steady in July, Jerome Powell’s public statements after the Fed announcement of a minor .25 bps rate cut were even worse for market investors to hear and only support my original position. Powell’s assertion that the cut was merely a mid-year “adjustment” and not the beginning of an easing cycle

horrified the investment world. Powell was telling markets quitebluntly that the punch bowl was not coming back anytime soon. On top of this, St. Louis Fed president James Bullard refused to commit to any further interest rate adjustments this year, citing a “wait and see” approach, which could take many months. Once again, Fed officials are making it clear that expectations for a stimulus bonanza are naive.

The consensus seems to be that the Fed has offered “too little toolate”, and I would say that this isa completely deliberate action. Frankly, there was nothing holding the Fed back from a cut of .50 bps and lavishing the financial media with images of QE heaven. Trump says he wants it, the daytrading world is begging for it, and central bankers rarely shy away from more money printing. Unless, of course, the banking elites WANTa crash to happen in the near term, that is.

The Fed has basically admitted to America that yes, we are entering recession territory and that the recovery they have been promoting for the past several years is a fraud. At the same time, they told investors that they aren’t going to do jack about it.

The Fed followed its rate adjustment “disappointment” with a large dump of assets fromits balance sheet – around $36 billion total in July. With no certainty of new stimulus in the near term, and no certainty of

further rate cuts this year, stocks were pummeled, and this is a downtrend that is probably going to continue for the rest of the year (with pauses and dead cat bounces mixed in). Of course, the banking elites have a plan and they intend populists tohelp them, wittingly or unwittingly.

Cue Donald Trump: Like clockwork the Trump Administration jumped into the fray the VERY NEXT DAY to distract the media and everyone else from the Fed’s actions by initiating even more surprise tariffs on China. China has now responded with a complete freeze on imports of US agricultural products. In return the US Treasury labeled China a currency manipulator. China is now threatening to devalue the Yuan, which will shake global equities and forex markets to thecore. Keep in mind that all of this has happened in less than a week.

Suddenly, the blame for the latest stock plunge is being attributed to Trump rather than the Fed. How convenient for the central bankers…

First, I have noticed a narrative

going around that Trump has expanded the trade war in a game of chicken with the Fed. His intention? To drive stock markets down in order to force the Fed to cut rates and launch new QE measures. I’m sorry, butthis theory makes little sense.

Everyone used to say that Trumpwas putting pressure on the Chinese in order to reduce the trade deficit and create more fairconditions for US goods overseas, as well as to stop technology theft. But since the trade deficit has only expanded since the trade war began, now they are saying that Trump is using the trade war as leverage against the Fed? Well, which oneis it? If the Fed were to accommodate Trump with QE4, would he then end the trade war without accomplishing his statedgoals? If the answer is “no”, then why would the Fed accommodate him at all?

Trump has fused the success of his administration to the success of the stock market. He has beenso insistent on taking credit for every stock market rally that now there is no separating the two. I have been warning about this for well over a year; Trump has made himself the perfect scapegoat for a collapse of the Everything Bubble should the globalists and their international banking partners decide to start one.

If the battle between Trump and the Fed was actually legitimate rather than staged, then why would Trump want a crash in

stock markets? Going into an election year, a crash in stocks would hurt him far more than it would hurt the central bank. TheFed would only need to wait a year for Trump to be buried in the 2020 election after the economic calamity is wrapped around his neck. The same goes for the Chinese. They would only have to wait a year as well for Trump to be unseated. The only incentive for Trump to cause a market panic is if he is intentionally creating a diversionfor the central bankers. Trump’scabinet, flush with banking elitesand CFR members, is proof enough that this is a distinct possibility, except for the people who make the insane argument that Trump is “keeping his enemies close”.

Those who do not accept the reality that Trump is a pied piperare desperately trying to conjure some kind of logical rational for Trump’s actions as well as the Fed’s actions. They won’t find anything logical until they recognize that the Fed is deliberately triggering a crash and that Trump and conservatives (or populists) are meant to take the fall for it.

The Fed And The ElitesAre Against The Trade

Second, Jerome Powell has insinuated in his recent statements that the ONLY reasonthe Fed was considering the barebones rate cut in July was because of Trump’s trade war and the instability it might cause.

Here we see the globalist narrative of the “evil populists” being built into the minds of the public. The assertion? That the crash in fundamentals is due to the trade war and the trade war alone. And, the trade war is a product of nationalism and populism, thus, all populists are culpable for the crash. The central banks that created the massive financial bubble? They get a pass.

Beyond this, there are also some rather ridiculous mainstream reports of members of Trump’s cabinet, including Mnuchin and Ross, advising him against the latest tariffs on China. Really? The same banking elites and CFR members that were all for the trade war six months ago are now against it? Again, this only makes sense if you look at it from the perspective that Trump and conservatives are supposed to take the blame for the crash while the bankers escape any scrutiny. They “tried to warn Trump” after all, but he wouldn’t listen. He “went rogue”. This is absurd theater designed for gullible people.

Trump doesn’t do anything without the approval of the elitesin his cabinet. There is no internal battle. Everything Trump does is for the benefit of the role he is playing within the globalist script.

This theory stems from a subset of people within the liberty movement that would give anything to believe that a hero on a white horse is coming to fight their battles against the globalists for them; but it’s simply not reality. Also, again, itmakes no sense.

If Trump had detached his administration completely from the economic bubble from the very beginning and said “Hey, I don’t take credit for the stock market boom because it’s a fraudcreated by the Fed”, only then would the above theory have anypotential. If Trump said to the Fed and to the American people, “I will try to MAGA whether theFed raises rates or cuts rates, andwhen the economy inevitably crashes the American people should blame the central bank”, then perhaps we might consider him a heroic statesman. This is not the case.

Also, only people who do not understand how the globalist cabal functions believe that the Fed and other US based structures are at the top of the pyramid of control. The globalists are GLOBAL, the Fedis nothing more than a franchise and the dollar nothing more thana sacrificial mechanism that can be replaced. They have done it in the past and they can do it again. In fact, that is a plan they openly admit to.

As it stands, there will be unimaginable consequences for

a crash within the US financial system, and many people will aim their hatred at Trump and conservatives for these developments. But by that time Iexpect that Trump will be long gone. Far from being a moment of triumph, it will be a moment that the global elites hope will bury sovereignty ideals for generations.

Bringing down the US economy will do nothing to stop the globalist plan for “new world order” centralization and a singlecashless global currency system.The truth is, the collapse of the US economy is a necessary part of the economic reset that the globalists desire.

It’s Not Over Yet – TheNext Stage Is A No Deal

As I predicted in March of this year, a No Deal Brexit event is the most likely outcome as it most serves the interests of globalists in pinning a crash in the US and parts of Europe on populists and sovereignty activists. With the exit of Theresa May and the rise of Boris Johnson, a ‘no deal’ panic is all but assured.

The EU banking system is on the verge of a Lehman moment. Deutsche Bank is in shambles. Italy’s banks are ticking time bombs. Many EU nations have national debts well above their annual GDP. It is only a matter of time before a crisis in the European Union occurs. Any person that is educated on the

weaknesses of economic interdependency would tell you that this crash is the fault of no-borders globalists. But, with populists rising to a moderate extent in the UK, Germany, France, etc., the globalists don’t have to take the blame for the failure of their supranational experiment.

Actually, they can use the crash to their advantage by blaming nationalism, then using the ensuing public fear as a springboard to launch a GLOBAL supranational union, first economically, and then in the form of a single world government. Why else would theECB be taking on Christine Lagarde, the most vocal proponent of the global economic reset, as chairman at this time? This is about engineered chaos. This is about aHegelian problem-reaction-solution dynamic.

As already mentioned, the Fed has just admitted in an indirect way that there is no economic recovery, and that there will be no QE until it is too late to even stall a crisis for a short amount of time. Trump has just admittedthat the trade war is not going to end in his first term as president and that it will only get much worse from here on. All that is left is for a No-Deal Brexit to send shockwaves throughout Europe, and maybe another shooting war (Venezuela or Iran?).

There are rare moments in history, when even the most determined enemies can suddenly recognize the futility ofbattle. Sometimes, just for a moment or two. Sometimes, for longer. Such moments of sanity may save thousands, even millions human lives. And, such moments are not expressions of weakness or cowardice; on the contrary; they are embodiments of courage.

I want to believe that what happened at the Lebanese – Israeli border in August 2019, was precisely one of those such rare moments of sanity.

It changes nothing in terms of the big, geopolitical picture: Israel is a Western outpost in the Middle East. It is tormenting the Palestinian people, illegally occupying the Golan Heights, bombing Syria, and antagonizing Iran.

But an important point was established: there are limits! Israel will not go ‘all the way’, risking self-annihilation, and the annihilation of the entire region. This fact alone gives a fragile, but at least some hope, for a better future of this long-suffering territory.

What prompts me to write the above?

At the end of August, it appearedthat Israel had lost its mind. It attacked, without warning, four countries simultaneously, within just 24 hours: Iraq, Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. It used drones full of explosives, as wellas fighter jets.

Palestine and Syria have been attacked, regularly, for years anddecades. Iraq, still de facto underUS occupation, was quite a different story. There, a group ofoutraged lawmakers, ‘exploded’,demanding the immediate withdrawal of the US, and calling the Israeli attack a ‘declaration of war’.

Lebanon, too, did not remain silent. Israeli drones damaged the media center of Hezbollah inBeirut. They also attacked a communist Palestinian faction inthe Beqaa Valley. For years, the Israeli air force has been violating Lebanese airspace, during the bombing raids of Syria. But this time it was different.

Even the Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri, an enemy of Hezbollah, and a man who holdsdouble citizenship (Saudi and Lebanese), protested, asking the United States and France for protection. The President of Lebanon called it out rightly, a declaration of war.

The leader of Hezbollah, HassanNasrallah, went live on television, and in a chilling statement promised a ‘measured response’.

At that point, it became clear that the entire region could soon be consumed by flames.

During coverage of the event, onboth Press TV and RT, I warned against the enormous danger: Israel was attacking every armedShi’a group in the region, and was only stopping short of attacking Iran itself. A few more assaults like these, and the entireregion could explode, dragging into the conflict countries like Saudi Arabia, on the side of Israel, and Iran, on the side of Syria, Palestine and Hezbollah.

Realistically, that could lead to the annihilation of entire areas and nations.

In that period of time, I drove to,and managed to enter the border region. I first arrived at the city of Naqoura on the Mediterranean coast, and then drove all the way to the Lebanese border with the occupied Golan Heights, following the so-called Blue Line, controlled by UNIFIL.

At several places on my right, the huge Israeli border wall was now clearly visible. UNIFIL patrols consisted of armored vehicles, manned mainly by indifferent looking Indonesian soldiers. Some were taking selfies, with Israel behind them. For the United Nations, there seemed to be no urgency in the region. In fact, right after the Israeli attacks, the UN began discussing the possibility of cutting the number of UNIFIL soldiers, as well as the UNIFIL budget.

As always when visiting this border, what appeared striking tome was the proximity of Israeli and Lebanese villages; tens of meters only, in some areas.

What followed, was a chilling, tense silence.

Then, about one week after the Israeli attacks, Hezbollah retaliated.

I was called by a TV station, asked to analyze events. As I spoke, journalists were getting the latest news from the border.

Hezbollah fired anti-tank rocketsat an Israeli vehicle patrolling near the Blue Line. It hit an Israeli tank (other reports said ‘armored vehicle’). According toHezbollah, all Israeli soldiers inside the vehicle either died or were injured. Allegedly, among the casualties, was an Israeli top-ranking commander – described as ‘a General’.

Those who are familiar with Israeli tactics for Palestine and the Golan Heights know that Israeli ‘retaliations’ in such scenarios, include the bombing of civilian targets, and the destruction of houses or entire blocks of houses.

Entire Lebanon held its breath.

This time it became clear that Hezbollah was not going to backdown. And Lebanon in general obviously has reached the point when it was ready to confront Israel, if that was what it would take to maintain its dignity.

I spoke to many Lebanese people. They were frightened, concerned, particularly if they had family and children. But they were also surprisingly calm.“If this is what fate brings, then

so be it!”

Then, quickly, events became bizarre and confusing:

Israeli newspapers, including theJerusalem Post, began quoting the Israeli Defense Forces, who were claiming that ‘Yes, an attack against Israel took place, but there were no Israeli casualties.’

Almost simultaneously, Israeli-leaked videos began appearing on YouTube and elsewhere, showing Israeli soldiers carryinginjured buddies to helicopters. Later, these very clips were blocked by YouTube itself, for “violating terms and conditions”.

A few days later, the entire discussion generally stopped, at both ends.

Israel ‘retaliated’ promptly. In the most peculiar way, too: it fired around one hundred rocketsinto Lebanon. But all the rocketslanded in fields. No target was hit. Meaning: it was decided not to aim at any targets, consideringthe Israeli capacity to hit with great precision. More exactly: it was decided to make sure that notarget would be hit. In the end, nobody was killed, and no one injured.

As I wrote above, villages, several towns and settlements are constructed right near the

border line. Both Israel and Hezbollah have enormous firepower. If they wanted to, they could inflict tremendous damage and losses of lives on each other.

For some reason, they decided not to.

I think, this is what happened:

By attacking four countries simultaneously, Israel miscalculated. Iraq and Lebanonwere not ready to accept the humiliation and barefaced attacks against their territories.

There were clear signals sent in Tel Aviv’s direction. And Netanyahu understood.

For days after the Israeli attacks,Hezbollah and Israel faced each other, in chilling defiance, separated only by a concrete wall, and by the inept UNIFIL troops. Both sides were aiming at each other great arsenals of missiles and other weaponry.

One wrong move, and the entire region could go up in flames. One tiny, erroneous move, and who knows how many lives of innocent people would be lost.

I believe, or perhaps I want to believe, that both sides suddenly imagined a huge ‘black hole’ – what of this part of the world

could become. They envisioned smoke, destruction and death; inevitable if they would not decide to immediately back down.

At the last moment, they did. They backed down. I don’t knowhow, who made the decision first. Were they communicating, even coordinating the de-escalation?

It was what, in Asia, we call ‘saving face’.

Shots were fired. Most likely, noone died. Halas!

Was an Israeli ‘general’ killed? I don’t know. Actually, I do not want to know. I am absolutely fine with the outcome: no full war in the Middle East. For now,this is the best we can get.

Of course, this should be just thebeginning. The insanity has to end. I am not convinced that it will. But what happened at the end of August 2019 clearly indicates that it could.

Unfortunately, we are living in a world when only strength guarantees survival. If

Hezbollah was not as strong as itis now, Israel would most likely not have thought twice; it would have overrun the entire Lebanon,in order to destroy its Shi’a adversary inside it.

But Hezbollah is strong.

And also, we have just learnt that there are at least some ‘boundaries’ which Israel is not willing to cross. In brief: Netanyahu is brutal, but he is notsuicidal. For now, Lebanon, Israel and the rest of the Middle East, have survived. For now.
