PRAGUE- Prague is the capital and the biggest city of the

Czech Republic.- Prague has about 1 milion residents.- President lives there.

THE MOUNTAIN SNĚŽKA- Sněžka is the highest point in the Czech Republic, in

Krkonoše.

- It´s high 1603 metres.

- One side of the mountain is in Poland.

THE NATIONAL THEATRE- The National Theatre in Prague is one of the most famous

theatres in the Czech Republic

- Architect of the Natiional Theatre is Josef Zítek.

- In 1881, a month before the opening of the National Theatre a fire broke out.

- After the reconstruction was opened in 1883.

THE NATIONAL MUSEUM- It was opened in 1818.

- The museum is in Prague's Wenceslas Square.

- One part of the National Museum is also a library.

THE CHARLES BRIDGE- It is the oldest bridge in the Czech Republic.

- Charles Bridge is over the Vltava River in Prague.

- There is the historic Royal journey in the bridge.

- There are lots of statues.

THE DANCING HOUSE

- It was buildt in 1996 in Prague.

- Its second name is Ginger and Fred.

- Dancing House won in 1996 the highest award in the design category.

- There are offices.

THE CASTLE HLUBOKÁ- It belongs to the most visited monuments in the

Czech Republic.

- It is situated near the town Czech Budějovice.

- It was buildt in the 13th century.

THE ABYSS MACOCHA- Its depth is 138

metres.- It is in Moravia.- The abbys is called

after stepmother (in the Czech languge ‚macecha‘), because she jumped there.

THE MÁCHA LAKE- It is the deepest lake in the Czech Republic.

- It was buildt in the 14th century.

- It is used mainly for recreation.
