Task

Create a anti-smoking poster and a pamphlet. your poster must include the influences, dangers and

consequences of smoking. Make sure they include these Key words:o Lungso Hearto Nicotineo brain

In this task you will be required to…..

Work in groups of four. Each member must have a task. 1st Group member deals with what is smoking, what nicotine is and its

ingredients. 2nd group member deals with smoking impacts on the heart( include possible

heart diseases, a diagram of the heart of before and after smoking). 3rd group member deals with smoking impacts on the lungs(include possible

lung diseases, a diagram of the lungs of before and after smoking). 4th group member deals with smoking impact on the brain (include possible

brain diseases, a diagram of the brain of before and after smoking).

In this task you will be required to…..

The research must be done in the school computer laboratory The group members will be required to type the pamphlet including all their

research information and picture required. the pamphlet must also include names and contact details of where people

who already smoke can get help . the pamphlet must be printed out with color and be submitted as a hard

copy with all the names of the group members written at the back. Learners must also include a real short case study of one person who smokes

. (include how he/she started smoking, how long has that person been smoking, financial , social, emotional and health effects of smoking In his life).

In this task you will be required to…..

Learners will present the information they have learnt from the research using a poster to the whole class.

The poster must be eye catching and neatly done. All group members will present the part they researched about.
