Prayer
Song - “To God Be The Glory”
*Invocation
We meet in the strong name of our God, We praise you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
*Litany
Lord Jesus, because of your crucifixion and resurrection, Where our sin increases, your grace abounds all the more.
We are sinners, falling short of your glory; Yet, we are forgiven in your grace and called to new beginnings.
As Christ was raised from the dead; We too may walk in newness of life.
We are no longer slaves to sin and death; We are alive to God as the followers of Jesus Christ. Amen.
*Prayer of the Day Lord God, we desire to experience abundant life in Jesus’ name. We long to
love as You love us. We desire the power of the Spirit to flow into our hearts
and through us to bless others. We want to walk in Your wisdom. Remove from
our lives everything that blocks the transformation to abundant life.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

First Lesson - Proverbs 3:1-13 1 My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they
will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity. 3 Let love and
faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of
your heart. 4 Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all
your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your
own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. 8 This will bring health to your body and
nourishment to your bones. 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the first fruits of all
your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over
with new wine. 11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline, and do not resent his
rebuke, 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights
in. 13 Blessed are those who find wisdom, those who gain understanding.
Second Lesson - Romans 8:31-39 31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be
against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all - how will
he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge
against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one
who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died - more than that, who was raised to
life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or
nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day
long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” 37 No, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither
death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any
powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Gospel - John 10:7-10 7 Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I
am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who have come
before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep
have not listened to them. 9 I am the gate;
whoever enters through me will be saved. They will
come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief
comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have
come that they may have life, and have it to the
full.”
