Mission Statement

The Memphis Mineral, Fossil, and Jewelry Show (the “Show”) will produce the following:

A successfully promoted event, for which high quality dealers will be contracted to market quality minerals, fossils, and jewelry to the public.

An exhibition and forum to provide its participants with well planned and executed educational experiences involving the earth sciences, lapidary arts, and archaeology.

A recruiting opportunity for membership in the Memphis Archaeological & Geological Society

A benefit for the Memphis Archaeological & Geological Society and the Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.

The Show is a proven venue with a long history of successful participation in the community (30 years in 2009). Historical attendance approximately 2,000.

The Show is financially stable, with adequate reserves and a strong balance sheet.

The Show is produced and supported by the membership of the Memphis Archaeological & Geological Society. The Society is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization incorporated in 1958. Current membership is over 250.

Monthly News Letter distribution is over 300.
