Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Bachelors’ Degree in Business plus a

Post Graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized University or

Institution.

A post graduate qualification in Business Education is an added

advantage.

Registered with the Ministry of Education and Sports

At least three (3) years working experience at Lecturer level in the field of

Business Education in a BTVET institution.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Liaise with Principals of various business education institutions in

preparation of budgets for development, capitalization and block grants.

Monitor the provision and timely distribution and use of basic tools and

equipment.

Liaise with industry and private sector to identify where students can carry

out their industrial training.

Desk Officer for industrial training.

Liaise with the National Curriculum Development Centre and other

relevant education institutions to review the business education curriculum

with a view of making it more relevant to labor market.

Any other duties assigned by his/her supervisors.

Qualifications and Work Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in a medical related field;

Must be a registered Health Tutor with the ministry of Education and sports.

At least three (3) years working experience in at Health Tutor level.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for HR matters of Health Tutor Training Institutions staff;

Liaise with HRM Department on matters of submissions to Education Service

Commission;

Liaise with the HRM department on matters of HR related decisions from

Education Service Commission on recruitment, appointment,

confirmation, discipline, promotion, abscondment, resignations, etc.;

Any other duties that may be assigned by the Principal Education Officer,

Health Tutor Education or any other higher authorities.

Must be registered as a graduate teacher with the Ministry of Education

and Sports.

At least three (3) years working experience at the level of Education Officer

Key responsibilities and duties:

Participate in the classification and grading of Private Schools and Training

Institutions in collaboration with relevant Technical Departments;

Maintain an up-to-date bank on Private Schools and Training Institutions,

staff and student numbers and composition, major training infrastructure,

equipment and facilities;

Scrutinize reports of Board of Governors/Management

Boards/Management Councils and prepare Management consolidated

reports;

Participate in the preparation of performance reports in respect of Private

Schools and Training Institutions to relevant authorities;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the relevant

authorities.
