THE EDWARDIAN GAZETTE
Dear Parents and Community Members This week we invested a lot of energy on the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) on vari-ous levels. The Staff Development Meeting for teachers paved the way for a collaborative team effort that will guide us towards a more dynamic approach in the way we deal with the core business in our College. It was a unique opportunity to reflect on our good practices and to ex-plore new ideas for further improvement. The meeting with parents was extremely positive since it proved to be the ideal forum for a healthy exchange of ideas and proposals. I am a firm believer that parental involvement is im-portant in ensuring the smooth running of a school. In fact, various research studies indicate that parents are critical to children’s successes during the school years. The challenge for our College is that all the stakeholders will engage in a reflective process to ensure that we address the important issues which were raised during the meetings.
Best Regards,
Mr George Psaila Headmaster

Wednesday 9 November Students and Parents studying Italian were given an interesting presentation by representa-tives of PLIDA. Dr Mario Pace, Director of Courses The talk was conducted by PLIDA Director of Courses, Dr Mario Pace who introduced the discussion while Chev Mi-callef spoke of the school and its international acclaim.
