Thank you, Donna Couch
As many of you have already heard, this past week Donna Couch retired from her position as Director of Faith Formation at St. Edward the Confessor Parish. Donna has been in Faith Formation ministry at St. Edward’s for a full 37 years. That’s a long time! She deserves a rest, with more time for her family, for her writing, and all the other things she loves to do. We wish her many blessings during her time of retirement.
The photo above shows Donna and me with a microphone between us. The photo was taken before we recorded our final podcast together. Some of you have listened faithfully to our podcast, and you have commented on how well we speak together. Our easy interaction is not just for show; it is the way in which we have worked together since I came to the parish almost three years ago. I am grateful to Donna for this.
We cannot even try to estimate the number of lives Donna has touched during the last 37 years. She has brought countless people to Christ and to the sacraments, and she has accompanied countless people in their search for faith. May the Lord accompany her with his grace, and may he reward her for her fruitful ministry in his vineyard. Thank you, Donna!
