• The Northeast and Southeast have available capacity. However.

• The North, Gulf-Central, West and the Naco Hermosillo regions are saturated.

• Due to the insufficient capacity of the National Gas Pipeline System (NGPS), a strengthening and development is necessary.

CFE PROJECTS

Two Gas Pipe Lines (42 inches ) State of Chihuahua. Estimated Investment: US$945 million;

Three Combined Circle Electricity Generation Plants, States of Sonora, Sinaloa, and Nuevo Leon. Estimated Investment: US$3 billion;

Three Transmission Lines, States of Chihuahua, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas and Coahuila. Estimated Investment US$71 million;

Five packages for the modernization of the electricity distribution lines for the States of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Mexico City, Durango, and the State of Mexico. Estimated Investment: US$512 million, etc.
