Pieces of Advice for the Exam

The Day of the Exam

Before the ExamDon't study the day before the exam.Get a good night's sleep.Have a good breakfast.Don't forget your documents and pens.Check the place for the exam.Be early.Stay calm and confident.

During the Exam

Read each question up to the end.You may be given important information.Organize the time you have.Underline key terms.Think of the answer and write accurately.When finished, reread it and check if your answer is the one you are asked.

After the Exam

Don't think about the exam any more.Try to relax.Prepare yourself for the next one.You have a new possibility of passing The University Entrance Exam.

The English Exam This year you will have two different options.You will have to choose only one.Read both options thoroughly and choose.Allocate time proportionally to the value of each question.Read all the alternatives before choosing the answer and make sure you are choosing the best one.

Write clearly.Don't panic if you feel unable to answer any of the questions , just go on.In the true/false question copy well from the text.In the comprehension question don't copy from the text. Use your own words.In the vocabulary question identify the grammar category of each word.

In the grammar question read and reread and then answer accurately.In the composition, plan what you are going to write, brainstorm ideas and organize information.Write a draft of your compositon with paragraphs.Finally write and check for errors in grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
