The ERITM TurboCharger (HALO) energy
recovery device for high-pressure systems is a
high-performance, low cost energy recovery
solution that reduces energy consumption in
desalination plants. It is ideal for small-to-
medium, skid-mounted seawater reverse
osmosis (RO) systems. The ERITM TurboCharger
device reduces high-pressure pumping with
simplicity and reliability. Easy to install, the ERITM
TurboCharger (HALO) device is a turnkey
solution that requires minimal time, operator
training and plant design. The ERITM Turbo-
Charger (HALO) device can be installed in
any direction and needs no instrumentation
or ancillary equipment. Unlike competing
turbine energy recovery devices, the ERITM
TurboCharger device is custom designed with
full 3D geometry impellers for optimized
efficiency. ERITM TurboCharger devices are
installed worldwide, helping plant owners
lower operational costs and save money.
The ERITM TurboCharger (HALO) device handles flows
from 50 to 1,500 gallons per minute (11 to 340 m3/hr)
and pressures from 600 up to 1,200 psi (45 up to 80
bar). The ERITM TurboCharger energy recovery device
offers many benefits to OEMs worldwide, including a
compact footprint with high efficiencies and operating
flexibility and no scheduled maintenance or downtime.
