In 1987, when I started performing as a professional singer,

little did I realise that 23 years down the road,

I would still be recording new albums and DVDs.

Twenty three years is a long time in any business,

especially showbusiness.

During these years I have had some great times

and I’ve been lucky enough to meet some

wonderful people along the way.

For the past nine years I have been recording albums and DVDs

on my own label, however I am delighted that Dolphin Records are releasing

As Good As I Once Was - The Essential Mick Flavin Collection,

chronicling my many happy years of recordings,

hopefully with many more to come!

I would like to thank everybody who has helped,

encouraged and supported me during my “Travellin” years!
