BiographyHector was born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1989. After finishing his high school education, Hector spent a year in the United States in order to practice and strengthen his understanding and use of the English language. A year later he began his professional formation in Product Design at the Istituto Europeo de Design (IED) in Madrid, Spain.

In 2009 Hector held his first small photography exhibition called Creando con mi Lente. After 2 years of studying he received his degree and returned to his native country to reside in Puerto Ordaz, where he was able to dedicate himself to the art of painting and create his first art exposition which he presented as Esencia de vida.

After the success of his exposition, Hector set out again to traverse foreign lands, this time he found himself in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he immersed himself in the local culture. Hector continues to regard it as the time when he discovered an “aspect of himself which had long been hidden within his being”.

It was in the capital of Argentina, where his adventurous spirit blossomed which culminating in a year long journey throughout the continent of South America and most of Central America, an experience which helped him to better understand certain principles and values which he felt many societies had lost sight of over the years.

Upon his return to Venezuela he counted on the sponsorship of the group KS 24 to help him introduce his newly discovered motif of dreamlike expressionism through the medium of acrylic, where through simple brushwork he was able to present his interpretations of the beauty and necessity of free thinking and life lived without fear of social constraints, creating the second exposition called it Nuevos caminos.

Prototype, proportionally scaled to real size, created in IED under the tutorial of the designers of CISZAK DALMAS.

The toy becomes more dynamic and multi-purposeful by the use of separate triangular sections, which one can detach and reattach through the use of zippers, allowing the child to create different shapes and structures.
