Kids Crop Card Want to involve your kids in scrapbooking? Get them the Kid Crop Card and bring them along with you when you crop! The Kids Crop Card is for kids under 16 and costs just $24 a year. With this card, your child may attend a Midnighter or Sunday crop free of charge twice a year and they’ll receive unlimited, free table time! *Some coupon restrictions apply. ADVANCED MASKING: In this Advanced Class we will learn all about masking techniques so that you can take your stamping and Copic coloring to the next level. WATERCOLOR STAMPING-PART 1: Do you love the look of a soft watercolored image? Need a new love or obsession in your life? This is it!!! I will be teaching a new stamping/watercolor class here at the store. I am completely obsessed with my new little works of art! The beauty is that you don't have to be an artist or practiced stamper to create these pieces of art! I will take you step-by-step to create watercolor scenes that you will be proud to give as framed gifts to those special people, or as cute cards to those card worthy friends! WATERCOLOR STAMPING-PART 2: Take your watercolor skills to the next level in this class with Carol. NO LINE WATERCOLORING: Carol has an exciting new technique to teach everybody! No line “watercolor” stamping. Carol is going to teach you how to stamp and color in your stamped images so that your stamp lines disappear. TECHNIQUE TUESDAY: I’d like to invite you to come to class with me, Carol! Tech Tuesday is a monthly technique class in which we will be making a gorgeous, fun, tag every month. These tags can be kept, with your notes on the back about how you made and it and the products used or they can be displayed at home (they are lovely art pieces!) or they can be given away as gift tags! Each month we will be using the newest products available to teach you how to use them and each month’s tag will be appropriate to the season or holiday. Hopefully, you’ll love the products used so much that you will want some of your own! The basics we ask you to bring to class are an apron, scissors, wet & dry adhesive, foam dots & sticky dots. $12 OCTOBER CLASS: Come learn how to do paint pouring and cell creation! BRUSH LETTERING CLASS: This class introduces you to the art of brush lettering through the use of Kelly Creates Learn Brush Lettering workbook. SCHOOL DAYS ALBUM: Back by popular demand is our School Memorabilia Album! Part 3: Finishing Touches This class will cover titles, journaling and all of the fun touches that make our pages appealing and complete. We will cover why and how to journal and brainstorm creative titles. Crop Room Guidelines

We very much enjoy being able to offer such a fantastic work space for all our customers and we hope that you enjoy the advantages we offer you. Please help us be able to continue offering these services by cooperating with the guidelines mentioned below. Thank you for helping us maintain a stress free and fun, place to be!

When there is a scheduled class or crop only registered participants are allowed to be in the workshop area. Please refrain from entering the area until the class is completely over. It is distracting to both the teacher and the paying students to have other people in the workshop area during classes. This means you cannot crop, layout photos or set up your gear during class time. Please wait until after the class has been dismissed to enter the workshop area.

Non BPC Cropper Members coming to crop during open table time will pay $2.00 an hour for use of workshop.

Any person occupying a seat at a crop or class must pay for that crop or class. There is no such thing as a “guest” at a crop or class who does not have to pay. If one exception is made, others would expect them and then there would be mass confusion and we would have too many people in the crop area, making it uncomfortable for everyone else that is paying to be there.

On Friday nights open crop time will end at 6:00 PM so that the staff has time to prepare the workshop for the Midnighter Crop.

Silhouette & Cameo Classes SILHOUETTE CAMEO BEGINNER CLASS: The Silhouette Portrait and Cameo digital craft cutters are perfect for cutting shapes and letters to use on your scrapbook pages, cards, home décor and so much more! This class is taught by a Licensed Instructor for Silhouette. The Silhouette cutters require a computer and via the internet you get instant access to a huge digital design collection with over 100,000 designs and using the software, you can create your own designs or cut clip art from your computer as well as any TrueType font. Plus, you can cut a wide variety of mediums including, paper, cardstock, vinyl, and fabric up to 12”. In the beginner class, you will learn the basics of using the Silhouette going from out of the box set-up to cutting and everything in between. You will use what you learn to create a two-page spread. SILHOUETTE CAMEO PROJECT CLASS: Each month in the Project Class we complete a different project helping you learn the features of the Silhouette machine and software and what you can do with it. This class isn’t necessarily about making pretty things, it's more about learning what you can do with your machine. This class is taught by a Licensed Instructor for Silhouette. Each participant will bring their own Silhouette Portrait or Cameo machine, a laptop with the Silhouette software pre-loaded, cords, blades and cutting mats. Be sure to read the details of each project, sometimes you’ll be required to download an image or bring an item necessary to complete the project.

OCTOBER & NOVEMBER CLASS: The project we will be making a really cute monogrammed ring dish. In this class we will talk about setting up an account & purchasing designs from the Silhouette store. We’ll also talk about downloading designs from the Silhouette store, and organizing designs in folders. Then we’ll learn how to size (or scale) designs, select cut settings and cut. Then we’ll weed our design and apply the vinyl with transfer tape. For this class you will need to search “Round Flourish Monogram” in the design store and download the monogram of your choice. If you need help doing this please call the store at 724-287-4311 ask for Kathie and she can walk you through the process. Kathie’s Karousel I love to try new adhesives. This month we received a new kind of glue that I’m looking forward to using. Carol’s Comments A new arrival at the Scrapbook Station this month is the much anticipated Tim Holtz A l c o h o l L i f t - I n k . Alcohol Lift-Ink is a cl ear ink which i s designed to lift color f r o m n o n - p o r o u s surfaces and transfer to porous surfaces. It is used with clear or rubber stamps to remove ink from backgrounds created with Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and Yupo papers. Lift-Ink Pad is available in a standard size ink pad and coordinating .5 oz. re-inker. The coordinating re-inker is ideal for using with stencils. This new ink is very popular so get in and get yours soon.

Leslie’s Lexicon Have you seen the new IMpresslits from Sizzix by Tim Holtz? These 3-D embossing folders emboss and cut in just one step because the cutting edge is embedded in the folder! The Impresslits work well with single sheets of cardstock, paper, metallic foil, and vellum. The embossing folders showcase the bold and edgy style of Tim Holtz and are designed for use with the BIG Kick, Bigshot, or Vagabond machines. For best results, spritz paper first with water, use only one cutting pad and run through machine 2-3 times. Sam’sSalutations Hello! I’m very grateful for this opportunity <3 My Name is Samantha but you can call me Sam if you’d like. I have been very artsy since I was little. I’ve experimented with a lot of different mediums. Including skin! I was a tattoo apprentice for about 3 months. It was fun, but unfortunately it didn’t work out and I continued

exploring. I discovered bullet journaling around November of 2017 and instantly became obsessed. I started a YouTube channel in January (Bulletproof Art). Where I explain how I set up my bullet journal, create challenges, do product reviews and more! I recently taught myself how to play the ukulele and I also enjoy singing, so I like to do them together. I have been practicing yoga for 5 years and it’s truly helped me come a very long way. I can’t wait to see what else the universe has in store for me. I’m excited to be here and I can’t wait to be apart of your crafting journey! Stay creative.
