Lack of Unity in Egypt
What are the factors that promote or erode unity among
people and nations?
The factors that promote or erode unity among the Egyptians are poor social conditions , taxes ,and corrupt government . The people of Egypt want their president out of office . They want him out of office because he denied them basic human rights like the right to assemble peacefully , communication , and to control their destiny and their living conditions are HORRIBLE!
Answer
One reason why their living conditions are bad is that they use the water that the animals do to bathe , drink , and wash their clothes. They cant even have something or somewhere nice to live because of their president denying them rights.
Example
They were not “rioting” it started off as just a simple protest and authorities fired at unarmed citizens . Activists in Egypt call for an uprising in their own country , to protest against poverty , unemployment , government corruption and the rule of president Hosni Mubarak , who has been in power for three decades.
A SIMPLE PROTEST
SIMPLE PROTEST GONE BAD!!
The government is taking steps to make food and energy affordable for most, but there is worry that the steps being taken will not be enough.
Government reducing food subsides.
Reporter CHRISTIANE AMANPOUR interviewed president Hosni Mubarak and she interviewed him for 30 minutes. Christiane asked him about the violence that his supporters launched against the anti-government protesters in Liberation Square. He was not to proud of what they did and he said that he did not want to see Egyptians fighting each other.

What my Multimedia project was about is the lack of unity in Egypt . It tells you about how their president/government treat the Egyptian people. It explains how he denies them human rights, their living environments and how they cant form a protest without commotion being brought by the authorities.
