At CaPE, we offer a wide range of CWD and CPD courses. These places can be funded by Health Education England, subject to

conditions.The below sessions are delivered by experienced practioners, and can be accessed by health care assistants to increase knowledge

Ear Care Update

Health Care Assistants can access this one-day workshop to discover the key prinicples involved in Spirometry.Learn about the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, and gain an overview of COPD.

Applicants are asked to bring their own spirometer.

Attend this one-day workshop to update yourself on ear care.This course will include the anatomy and physiology of the ear, managing common ear complaints and the principles of ear irrigationable.

Blood Results in Primary Care

This one-day workshop is perfect for health care assistants who deal with diabetes patients on a more frequent basis.

Workshop content is to be confirmed.

The workshop is available to practice nurses as well as health care assistants.

The one-day workshop will cover common bloods taken in a primary care setting, discuss the normal ranges and interpretation of these within primary care.

Commissioned by Health Education England, funded places are available subject to conditions. Sessions are created and delivered by practitioners who specialise within their area of nursing with years of experience.
