BROWNSBORO FARM
NOVEMBER 2015
THE FARM GAZETTE
Mayor’s Notes:
Well, autumn is here and it’s been a busy time in Brownsboro Farm. Thank you to the Leis’ for organizing the annual Shrimp Boil and congratulations to our own Ironman – Rob Leis, your persistence and determination are an example to everyone!!!!! Thank you to the Quinn’s for putting together a great Fall Festival and to our master chili chefs who took the chill out of a brisk fall evening. Thank you to the Burton’s and the Mahanes’ for coordinating an innovative Halloween Parade, kick-off reception and trick-or-treat. I have dibs on any leftover Payday bars!
Don’t forget that the best way to work off those extra calories is to join me at the Com-munity Center for Stephanie’s PIYO classes every Monday/Thursday at 7:30pm and Satur-day at 10AM, you will see results immediately!
As the days get shorter, the evenings get dark earlier, and the potential for a few snow-flakes exist, please be respectful of your neighbors and do not forget our rules on street parking. As a reminder, our playground, park and parking lot (unless there is an event at the CC) all close at dusk – this is another important public safety concern.
A few residents have contacted me recently regarding mailboxes. If the post on your mail-box becomes damaged, it is your responsibility to contact Eagle Signs right here in Louis-ville for replacement. Our matching mailboxes are an important feature and the number-ing is compliant with what EMS expects in the neighborhood. If the metal mailbox portion becomes damaged, Eagle can replace it or you can purchase an identical mailbox at Lowes or Home Depot. Please ask your Commissioner if you have any questions.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiv-ing from my family to yours.
Regards,
Marc
