Various Marching Band Shows

In 2008, the kids marched at many different shows. One of those was at Lucas Oil Field in Indianapolis. Every year
CCHS travels to Indy for the BOA competition, which is the annual Bands of America competition.

Aside for the BOA competition, the kids travel to the Annual BeechwoodShow, Mason County, Boone County, Colerain, Ohio and Morehead State University.
Every September Campbell County High School hosts their annual “Northern Kentucky Marching Band Festival”. This
shows is an all-day affair with 15-20 bands from the tri-state area.

Conclusion

BJ and Sam have been a part of my life for eight years now and I’ve watched themgrow from little boys unsure of who they were, into fine young men fully
aware of what they wanted to do and what they liked .
BJ was the hard one to get to join marching band, but with much pushing from his Mom, he joined when he was a Freshman and never once
regretted it. His little brother who is four years younger than he is, would go with us to watch all the marching band shows and fell in love with it. He joined when he was a 7th grader and this fall, he will be a
Freshman. Going to the marching band shows is a family affair, something we look forward to and love to be a part of.
Even for Sam, who has already marched for two years, we still have four more to go!
