Fit & Quality Survey How to Measure

Have participant stand with feet shoulder distance apart, looking straight ahead throughout the process. (Remind as necessary) Position the waist elastic carefully and tie securely. Have participant bend to the side to verify the waist position. If the elastic is readjusted during the process, re-take any waist-related measurements.

Top Measurements 1. Overbust Measurement: circumference around the body just below the armpits with breath expelled 2. Bust Measurement: circumference around the bust at the fullest point 3. Underbust Measurement: circumference around the body just below where the breast attaches to the chest wall with

breath expelled

4. Shoulder to Underbust: length from the center of the shoulder, over the fullest part of the bust, and continuing below the bust to where the breast attaches to the chest wall

5. Center Back Neck to Underbust: length from the cervicale over the fullest part of the bust, and continuing below the

bust to where the breast attaches to the chest wall 6. Center Back Neck to Front Waist: length from cervicale, over fullest part of the bust to waist level/marker in front 7. Center Back Neck to Back Waist: length from the cervicale to waist level/marker in back 8. Back Across Shoulder: width across the back, midway between shoulder point & the back break-point (location on the

back of the torso at the lowest point of the armpit where the arm separates from the body). Locate the position then take measurement between creases formed at the back of the arms when the elbows are bent & extended backwards;

Bottom Measurements 1. Waist Measurement: circumference around body at waist level. (For waist location see instructions at beginning). 2. High Hip: circumference around the body 3” below waist 3. Hip Measurement: circumference around the body below the waist at the fullest point of buttocks. 4. Waist to (fullest point of) Hip: length along the side, from the waist to where the hip measurement was taken 5. Knee circumference: circumference around the knee at the top of the knee cap 6. Outseam 1 Waist to Knee: length of the leg from waist level to level with the top of the knee cap 7. Outseam 2 Waist to Ankle: length of the leg from waist level to ankle bone 8. Center Back Waist to Floor: length of the body from front waist to the floor 9. Center Back Waist to Floor: length of the body from back waist to the floor 10. Inseam to Knee: length of the leg from crotch level to level with the top of the knee cap 11. Inseam to Ankle: length of the leg from crotch level to ankle bone 12. Trunk Length Front: length of the front of the body torso from the center of the crotch to the top of the shoulder

13. Trunk Length Back: length of the back of the body torso from the center of the crotch to the top of the shoulder

14. Trunk Length Total: calculation - sum of the Trunk Length Front and the Trunk Length Back 15. Crotch Length Front: length of the front of the body torso from the center of the crotch to the waist level 16. Crotch Length Back: length of the back of the body torso from the center of the crotch to the waist level 17. Crotch Length Total: calculation - sum of the Crotch Length Front and the Crotch Length Back 18.
