“While the education system has with a difference expanded since independence, the

emphasis has mainly been on literacy', which is not exactly the definition of 'Learning'.”

With the opening up of the Indian economy and its integration to globalization, the

coming generation of this global society will need to be different contributing members

of this global village.

Ashoka Education Foundation has set up an educational complex to provide a holistic

educational experience designed to produce these citizens. In June 2005 we took the

first step by starting the Pre-primary and Primary schools. In the coming years,

activities of AEF will expand exponentially, blossoming into a full-fledged International

University.

‘Ashoka Centre for Business and Computer studies’ is the one of the steps towards the

mission.

More than possessing the knowledge, it is important to know what purpose that

knowledge can serve. Our country has been affected by the stereotype teaching

system, where the focus is on ensuring that the students has learnt what has been

taught.

Ashoka Education Foundation (AEF) focuses on a much broader picture, which is of

developing not just a SCHOLAR but also a COMPLETE PERSON. One who know

WHAT he is learning, WHY is he learning and HOW can he make the best utilization of

his new gained knowledge.

Orientation “Swami Vivekanand thought & today’s youth”: Staff of ACBCS celebrated birthanniversary of Swami Vivekanand. ACBCS Literary Club shown a youtube video SwamiVivekanand biography. Mr. Lokesh Surana shared Swami Vivekanand’s thoughts and talkedabout today’s youth.

Second Day of Youth week i.e.13th Jan 2021

“Corona based cleanliness at home & college”: On this day, college was cleaned, disinfectedand sanitized properly.


















On same day, i.e.13th Jan 2021 “Majhi Vaundhara” orientation was conducted in which Ms.Neha Yeola explained students about importance of conservation of Mother Earth. NSS P.O. Mr.Lokesh Surana along with staff & Students conducted an online E-oath as per circular received.

Third Day of Youth week i.e.14th Jan 2021

“A step towards plastic eradication”: NSS department had organised an online activity “A steptowards plastic eradication”, in which students had been asked to prepare poster /PPT/shortvideo regarding plastic eradication. All participants were awarded E-certificates.

Fourth Day of Youth week i.e.15th Jan 2021

“Finance for Non-Finance”: Mr. Lokesh Surana conducted a very useful online session“Finance for Non-Finance” via zoom app, in which he discussed key finance concepts, thedifference between cash and profits, costs and costings, budgets and cash flow, managementand financial information. The session got an excellent feedback from participants.














Fifth Day of Youth week i.e.16th Jan 2021

Mr. Aniket Songire conducted the wonderful online session(DhyvedyaTarunaiSathi):for all students and staff of ACBCS via zoom app, in which hemotivatedthe partcipants by sharing thoughts of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Raja Ram Mohan Roy, SwamiVivekananda, etc.

Sixth Day of Youth week i.e.18th Jan 2021

“Group discussion: “Changes in Youth Psychology”NSS department had organised an online group discussion on the topics

1) Change in youth psychology with change in Time2) Developing Scientific temper amongst the Youth3) Challenges for todays Youth

Five groups each of two students participated in the acivity. Each group talked about 5 Min. onone of the above topics. Students shared their views and ideas on their topic.

The flag unfurled was done by AEF Director Dr. D.M.Gujarathi. At this time, the security staff,

teachers, staff of the college, who also provided uninterrupted service during the Corona period,

besides the Corona warrior Shri. Sudarshan Nagre, Ms. Himani Chavan, Ms. Neha Yeola, Ms.

Vrushali Deshpande, Shri. Dhananjay Kadam was felicitated as corona warriors.

On this Occasion ACBCS had organized article writing competition on topic “Unity In Diversity”for students, 15 student’s submitted online articles.
