Dear Friends,

When we started on this journey we wanted to help raise funds and awareness for good causes so in our first year we chose 15 charities to support. We now support hundreds of good causes around the world through The Global Charity Trust and encourage the guests of The Global Party to carry on these relationships throughout the year. We have the honor of being the largest private charity party in the world and plan to keep on growing!

From the hustle and bustle of the great cities of the world like London, Mexico City, Shanghai, Paris, Rome and Moscow to more remote locations including Bhutan, Easter Island, Ulaanbaatar and The Galapagos, The Global Party unites people in their support of good causes and those in need.

We have partnered with the owners of some of the most luxurious venues across the globe; many of the world’s most famous private members clubs, premium restaurants, private residences and 5 star hotels. It is thanks to their incredible generosity and hospitality that this global event is able to take place. Each event always promises a unique experience and offers the chance to be part of a truly amazing global experience.

We would very much like to thank those who have helped to make all this possible. This incredible event would not be happening without the hospitality of our venue hosts, the never-ending encouragement of family and friends, the support of our local and global sponsors and partners, the excitement of the press who have helped us to spread the word, the numerous individuals who attend the parties, our sister businesses who have lent their valuable resources and our team, based across the world, who work so hard.

We hope that you continue to enjoy The Global Party for many years to come and that the scale of the event not only helps to raise awareness for good causes but also helps us to raise as much money as possible with which to support them in their incredible work.

Best wishes wherever in the world you are,

David Johnstone Lord FinkTrustee TrusteeThe Global Charity Trust The Global Charity Trust

The Global Party is the largest invite-only VIP charity event on the planet, welcoming the world’s social elite as they come out to play for a noble cause. This awe-inspiring philanthropic event spans the globe, raising awareness and funds for hundreds of charitable causes through The Global Charity Trust.

The first event was held across 73 cities in 2011 and now this record breaking event has grown in size five-fold and spans six continents in conjunction with the owners of the world’s finest galleries, premium restaurants, bars, clubs, 5 star hotels and luxury retailers.

It has unified the luxury industry and an international elite party crowd to support good causes. The parties range from small receptions to gala events and have attracted politicians, high-net-worth individuals, international media, society and celebrities.

The events themselves are second to none and are fuelled by the creativity and imagination of our partners. We have had daytime events, night time parties, gala dinners, dancing ‘til dawn, elephants at watering holes, cabarets, hot air balloons in city centres, celebrity performances, themed extravaganzas, parties on moving trains, events on boats, country hopping guests and cocktails all around the world with glasses raised to The Global Party and all the good causes supported by The Global Charity Trust.

The Global Party doesn’t just happen. It takes planning, coordination and dedication to make it work but it is the enthusiasm from our partners that steers the whole event. Their commitment to being part of something that transcends all borders has helped shape The Global Party and cultures and has allowed us to focus on our mission of increasing the support that the luxury industry, the world’s elite and international high net worth individuals give to charitable endeavours.

What started out as a philanthropist’s dream of giving something back by raising awareness and introducing new patrons to those charities most in need has quickly developed into an international experience that supports hundreds of good causes.

THE MOVEMENT is a 365 day a year fundraising initiative conceived by The Global Charity Trust. It unites individuals with the international luxury industry, complementing their philanthropic goals throughout the year.

To support THE MOVEMENT consumers simply choose to purchase items or services where the icon is displayed. By doing so they trigger a donation to charity from the business. It is that simple. Our aim is to help people and businesses come together to support good causes as a part of their daily life. A little luxury can go a long way!

THE MOVEMENT also promotes good causes as well as charitable endeavours like The Global Party through THE MOVEMENT MAGAZINE and THE MOVEMENT CHANNEL which go out to over 120,000 high net worth individuals, followers of the luxury industry and philanthropic supporters of good causes.

The Global Charity Trust is the driving force behind The Global Party.

The Global Charity Trust’s philanthropic mission is to support hundreds of charities and their worldwide causes with increased brand awareness and aid; focusing on health, the elderly, education, the arts, the environment, children and animal welfare. The Global Charity Trust is established under the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF, registered charity number 268369).

Everything we do is aimed at promoting and supporting good causes and charitable endeavours. The Global Charity Trust’s goals are achieved through two main initiatives: The Global Party and THE MOVEMENT. Both of these international campaigns work hand-in-hand with the luxury industry to support philanthropy in hundreds of cities worldwide.

We are fortunate that The Global Party has quickly become such an international success allowing us to reach out to good causes all around the world who are looking for awareness and to generate funds. By spanning the globe we have been brought into contact with some incredible organisations and have developed and maintained relationships with them.

We also support local charities through The Global Party’s venue hosts which has significantly increased the number of good causes who benefit from our work and allows the venue hosts to have a direct and ongoing relationship with their local charities which we hope will generate additional support throughout the year and promote them globally. Acting as a catalyst, we believe that by lighting the spark of philanthropy and creating a prominent way to support good causes we are creating a platform for venues to support good causes both close to home and internationally and helping their VIP’s to give something back for many year’s to come. We do what we set out to do and that is to reinforce our mantra that we are “linking the world for a worthy cause”.
