Shakespeare

HamletBy Alex

The Globe TheatreImagine walking into Shakespeares masterpiece, the wooden O. You see a stage with two large pillars. However, you do not see a set. Looking up, you see a blue celling over the stage representing The Heavens. When you look around you see three stories of seats. Before the actors come on stage, you hear a loud cannon fire. A creepy witch appears on the stage from a trapdoor under the stage representing hell. Then, an angel flies out of Heaven. Standing on the ground with the other groundlings, you feel amazed. Hearing the instruments makes it even more incredible. As the play ends, you hear the other groundlings screaming and shouting. As a result, you left the wooden O in shock.
