ROMANS 15:13

Now may the God of hope fill youwith all joy and peace in believing,that you may abound in hope by thepower of the Holy Spirit.

HUMAN CONTEXT

MOST HUMANS LIVE IN STRESS, FEAR,ANXIETY ABOUT THE MANY THINGSOF LIFE.THESE THINGS ARE GREAT OBSTACLESIN OUR FAITH AND EVEN DANGEROUSFOR OUR LIVES.

CREATURES AND CHILDREN OF GOD

AS CREATURES OF GOD, WE ARE THECREATURES OF THE GOD OF HOPE.AS CHILDREN OF GOD, OUR FATHER ISTHE GOD OF HOPE.

WHAT YOU MUST BE

YOU MUST BE A MAN OF HOPEYOU MUST BE A WOMAN OF HOPE

GOD’S WILL FOR YOU

GOD DOES NOT DESPAIR OVER YOU.HE WANTS YOU TO FACE THE FUTUREWITH HOPE.

GOD HAS HIGH HOPES FOR YOU

GOD HAS PLANS FOR YOU

JEREMIAIH 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,says the LORD, plans for welfare andnot for evil, to give you a future and ahope.

CHILDREN OF THE GOD OF HOPE

HOPE FILLS YOU WITH EXCITEMENT AND OPTIMISM

HOPE PRODUCES PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE

HOPE HELPS YOU FACE THE FUTURE

WE WILL SEE THE GLORY OF GOD

ROMANS 5:12“Rejoice in your hope, be patient intribulation, be constant in prayer.”

HOPE PRODUCES PATIENCE AND PERSISTENCE

HOPE GIVES YOU THE PATIENCE AND THE PERSISTENCE NEEDED TO LIVE

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.

WHY SHOULD YOU HOPE?

GOD HAS GIVEN US PROMISESTHE PRESENCE OF GOD IS WITH USTHE POWER OF GOD WORKS WITH US

GOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY

GOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH THE JOY OF FORGIVENESSGOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH THE JOY OF ETERNAL LIFEGOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH THE JOY OF BELONGING TO HIS FAMILYGOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH THE JOY OF KNOWING THAT WE WILL GO TO HEAVEN WHEN THIS LIFE IS OVERGOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH THE JOY OF SERVING OTHERS AND HELPING THEM ENTER THE LIFE OF FAITH

GOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH PEACE

GOD WANTS TO BRING ORDER INTO THE CHAOS OF YOUR LIFEGOD WANTS TO GIVE YOU THE GIFT OF PEACE THAT COMES THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.

GOD WANTS TO BRING ORDER INTO THE CHAOS OF YOUR LIFE

ROMANS 8:28 “We know that in everything Godworks for good with those who loveHIM, who are called according to hispurpose.”

PEACE THROUGH JESUS

THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKS WITHIN USFROM CONVERSION TO BRING US INHARMONY WITH THE WILL OF GOD,MAKING INNER PEACE POSSIBLE.

ROMANS 5:1 “Therefore, since we are justified by faith,we have peace with God through our LordJesus Christ.”

THE SOURCE

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SOURCE OF HOPE,JOY AND PEACE.THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THESE BLESSINGSOF GOD WILL COME TO YOU AS YOUBELIEVE IN THE GOODNESS ANDGRACIOUSNESS OF GOD.HEBREWS 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to pleasehim. For whoever would draw near to God must believe that heexists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

THE LESSON

GOD IS THE GOD OF HOPE.YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE GOD OF HOPEGOD WANTS TO FILL YOU WITH ALL JOY ANDPEACE.GOD WANTS TO DO THIS IN YOU, TO YOU,FOR YOU AND THROUGH YOU BY THE POWEROF THE HOLY SPIRIT.YOU MUST RESPOND TO GOD WITH GENUINEFAITH.
