The Gospels - These things are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name (John 20:31)
- Luke has “written an orderly account so that you can know the certainty of what you have been taught” (Luke 1:4)
- Jesus said, “…make disciples od all nations and baptise them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit and teach them to obey everything I commanded you” (Matthew 28:20)
- Jesus proclaimed the good news, “the time has come. The Kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the good news”. (Mark 1:14)

1:20 James and John left their nets to follow Jesus
1:33 The whole town gathered at Jesus’ door with the sick and demon possessed
2:7 They thought to themselves ‘he’s blaspheming’
3:21 His family said ‘he’s out of his mind’
6:2 Crowds were amazed at his wisdom and power to do miracles
