3) Apply the article to the film screened in class. How did the

article support or change the way you thought about the film,

director, content, etc.?

The article supports my feelings of The Graduate, I loved this film. I enjoyed how the characters all played their parts to the extreme, whether it be posh, nerdy, or quirky the direction lead the actors to fit a stereotype. This leads the audience to take more notice on Benjamin's reversal of fortune throughout the action of the movie. Going from a wealthy stable lifestyle to an uncertain adulthood Benjamin life gets turned around.

4) Write a critical analysis of the film, including your personal

opinion, formed as a result of 4 things: the screening, class 3

discussions, text material and the article.

This film lives up to its expectation as a classic, it raised bars in the film industry challenging movies that followed. The Graduate's well rounded story line and complication are definitely major elements intended to create successful film. With fine direction and composition The Graduate includes some of the most noteworthy and climatic scene in all of film history.
