This film was nominated for seven academy awards and won best direction by Michael Nicolas, putting this film as a fan favorite for decades.

Unfortunately Benjamin falls for Mrs. Robinson's daughter Elaine putting him in an odd predicament. Having to finally challenge himself to get something he wants this character undergoes a major transformation that can be appreciated by audiences members. The article supports my feelings of The Graduate, I loved this film. I enjoyed how the characters all played their parts to the extreme, whether it be posh, nerdy, or quirky the direction lead the actors to fit a stereotype. This leads the audience to take more notice on Benjamin's reversal of fortune throughout the action of the movie. Going from a wealthy stable lifestyle to an uncertain adulthood Benjamin life gets turned around.

This film lives up to its expectation as a classic, it raised bars in the film industry challenging movies that followed.
