“It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat peo-ple up.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali’s name before Converting to Islam

was Cassius Clay.

Muhammad Ali won the heavyweight championship

when he was 21.

Muhammad Ali converted to Islam because he

wanted peace and racism to end and he thought that

everyone should have the same rights.

People didn't want Ali to fight because he was Mus-

lim.

Everyone thought that he would lose an amateur

match.

Everyone hated Muhammad Ali because he was

Muslim

Muhammad was banned from boxing because he

wouldn't fight in Vietnam.

Ali was the symbol for anti-war movement

WHAT IS THE MEANING OF SUCCESS FROM

THIS BOOK AND WHAT DOES SUCCESS MEAN

TO ME?

In this book success plays a real big role be-

cause Muhammad Ali’s main goal was to

succeed. To me success means achieving a

goal for a long time.

Poverty: State of

being poor.

Lecture: A talk

given to a group of

people.

Turbulent: Mov-

ing in a violent

way.

Raucous: Behav-

ing in a very

rough and noisy

way.

Influential: Role

models.

A SECTION OF YOUR BIAS ARTICLE AND HOW

IT IS BIAS

The only reason he won matches in his prime was be-

cause he would run, run, run, run, run, jab, run more

and hold if the shorter man made it inside. Not to men-

tion that a lot of his wins were heavily rumored to be

set up by corrupt promoters and the mafia as well. He'd

get away with a record amount of rule breaking and win

decisions by a landslide just because he *proclaimed

himself as the best* and everyone bought into it and

wanted his golden sack sweat for some unknown rea-

son. His flaws, inability and boring style in the ring was

mostly hidden because he did a moronic dance that

masked it all. He got away with bad habits and doing

things boxers should never do in the ring (leaning back

from punches, lowering your guard/hands, etc.) based

purely on luck that also aided in the illusion of him

looking good.
