Takakura Home Composting Method
In the Takakura composting method, organic waste is broken down by microorganismsthat are cultivated from local materials. The method involves making a seed compostfrom fermented solutions and a fermenting bed. Organic waste is mixed with the seedcompost and left to degrade in a ventilated container or basket.
The participated parents were very excited and happy to receive the new method indoing composting, that is particularly suitable for those household with backyard to docomposting. The baskets and compost were given away to the participants of theworkshop, sponsored by Green and Blue Group.
