from KPBX, KSFC, and KPBZ. We want to hear more! You can now record your thoughts through

the new Listener Hotline. Call anytime to (509) 232-6904 and record your thoughts or stories about listening to the stations of SPR. We might share these recordings on air and online.

Maybe you have a memory about a particular program, a special driveway moment, or a laugh from an SPR event. Tell us your story, then listen for your voice on the radio!

Thanks for telling us what you enjoy about the stations. It helps us celebrate this great public radio service together.

Listener Hotline Wants Your Stories

The New Year brings several significant changes to the program lineup of Spokane Public Radio. Starting on January 1st A Prairie Home Companion will be replaced on Saturday afternoons on KPBX 91.1 with Live Wire from Portland, OR at 3 pm and The Moth Radio Hour at 4 pm. Our Sunday lineup will now include Inland Folk with Dan Maher in its three-hour entirety from 6 to 9 pm, followed by Soundspace with Zan Agzigian from 9 to 11 pm. Folk Alley will join the afternoon lineup at 3 pm.

On KSFC 91.9, Native America Calling will move from 10 am weekdays, when it airs live, to 9 pm. The show can still be heard live on KPBZ 90.3. The 10 am weekday KSFC slot will be repopulated with On the Media, TED Talks, Reveal, Innovation Hub, and Big Picture Science.

General Manager Cary Boyce says that issues of pricing, audience, and retirements are driving such programming changes across the country. “We live in a time of significant changes in public broadcasting.

The KPBX Record Sale is back-- the biggest year ever! The event is set for Feb. 24 and 25 at the Spokane Valley Event Center, 10514 E Sprague, at University and Appleway.

The annual fundraiser for SPR features music and film formats

of all kinds: CDs, DVDs, tapes, and of course, vinyl and 45s. You’ll even be able to find the equipment to play them all on too!

All of these items come from donors who are ready to let their treasures
