Easter Flowers. You are invited to continue a tradition
here at Clinton Frame of purchasing flowers for East-
er Sunday "In Memory of" a loved one or just to enjoy. We
have potted Lilies for $14 or potted Tulips for $11. Follow-
ing the Easter Service you may take your flowers home to
enjoy. Today is the last day to order. Names will be listed
in the bulletin on Easter Sunday. Questions? Contact the
church office: 574-642-3165 or [email protected].
Christian Camp Scholarships towards one camp experi-
ence are available. Pick up an application in the church
office (if you did not receive one in your church mailbox)
and return by May 5. This scholarship includes Bible
Memory Camp and is a replacement of the Bible Memory
scholarship of $25 that was previously awarded. Exact
scholarship amounts may be subject to change depending
upon the number of children who apply, but we anticipate
each child receiving around $50 in financial assistance. If
you have any questions, please contact Pastor Amanda at
[email protected] or 574-370-2583.
Library Addition: Michael Kelley is the author of Growing
Down: Unlearning the patterns of adulthood that keep us
from Jesus. The author wrestles with Jesus’ words that the
kingdom of heaven belongs to the likes of little children. If
that is true, then we must grow down in characteristics
that make us functional and effective adults if we want to
truly grow up in Christ. Lowell Farrand’s second book,
Little Slice of Heaven tells more of his life experiences in-
volving flying and other events. An interesting read and
example of walking with God.
To the many friends and church family that visited our father during the hospital stays and the months in the nursing home, we thank you. To those that provided food, phone calls, text messages, cards, sang at the funeral, we humbly say thank you. Also to Matt Yoder and Linda Miller who lead us through the arrangements for the service. We are truly blessed by each one of you.
The family of Alvin Yoder
Faith Stories: Bob Rosa will be sharing his faith story on March 27 in the Share & Care room.
Moving Mountains, Praying with Passion, Confidence and Authority books are available at the Info Center for $12.
Prayer Retreat, Saturday, March 30, 9 am—12 noon will
be a special time led by Pastor Brent Lively and include
practicing listening prayer, praying in the Spirit, and pray-
ing Scripture. Please sign up in Sunday School, at the Info
Center or call the church office 642-3165, if you know or
think you might attend. This sign-up will give us an idea of
how many packets to print. You are welcome even if you
don’t sign up. Please arrange your own childcare.
Michiana Mennonite Economic Development Associates
(MMEDA) March Business Tour will be of New Horizons
Aviation at the Goshen Municipal Airport, Saturday,
March 30, 2019, at 8:30 am. The morning will begin with
a hearty buffet breakfast at Dandino's in Goshen. Then
we will travel just a few miles south to the airport on CR
42 where Roger Yoder and Dave Hawkins will share some
of the history and changes at New Horizons Aviation.
Several airplanes and the flight simulator will be on
display. Please RSVP by noon on Tuesday, March 26, to
[email protected] or call/text 574-355-3607. Cost
is $5 for students, $15 for Michiana MEDA members, and
$20 for others, payable at the door.
Hymn Sing: Before Hymnal: A Worship Book and The
Mennonite Hymnal there was the Church Hymnal, first
published in 1927. Step back into that bygone era and
request your favorites at a 1927 Church Hymnal Hymn
Sing to be held Sunday, March 31, at 4 pm, at the College
Mennonite Church sanctuary. Bring a copy of the hymnal
if you have one.

Appalachia People (SWAP) program has an urgent need
for volunteer groups and individuals. Summer will be
here before we know it, so make your summer plans now
