The heart of Paradise Valley
M O U N TA I N S H A D O W S , T H E N A N D N O W.
Back in 1959, Mountain Shadows first opened its doors. The resort earned its namesake from the shadows cast by Camelback
Mountain. The upscale locale catered to travelers, families and Hollywood stars alike. In 1960, the resort added a par-56 golf course,
clubhouse and more guestrooms. In 2014, Westroc Hospitality and Woodbine Development joined forces to rebuild the resort from the
ground up to reintroduce Mountain Shadows, which was fully completed in 2018. Today, the resort builds upon its storied history by
offering unparalleled experiences, whether you’re staying for a month, popping in for a nightcap or simply strolling through rotating
exhibitions of our thoughtfully curated art gallery.
