Notes From the Pastor My Dear Parishioners, As this is my last column of 2018 let me wish each of you a BLESSED and HAPPY NEW YEAR! As the dawn of a New Year approaches I would like to share a quote that I hope you enjoy as much as I:

I will seek elegance rather than luxury, refinement rather than fashion. I will seek to be worthy more than respectable, wealthy and not rich.

I will study hard, think quietly, talk gently, and act frankly. I will listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with an open heart.

I will bear all things cheerfully, do all things bravely, await occasions and hurry never.

In a word, I will let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious

grow up through the common.

The New Year always brings the anticipation of joy, happiness and the idea of starting over and anew. The New Year comes to give us a fresh hope for a better future. The New Year lets us dream and once again know that we will face challenges with confidence. As we begin this New Year, may your dreams and hopes succeed with the blessing of God and may He continue to bless each of you and your family abundantly.
