Our journey started back in 1981 with the formation of Dutco Hotels part of the Dutco group who already had a rich heritage in the Middle East, we owned and operated the first two resort properties in Dubai: Jebel Ali Hotel and Hatta Fort Hotel. We built on the success of our first properties with the additional of Palm Tree Court and Oasis Beach Tower hotels but we became much more than a hotel chain we became a destination within a destination in Dubai with the addition of Bateaux Dubai, the Al Sahra Desert Resort, the Centre of Excellence and the Beach Club joining the family. With this diverse portfolio of hotels and venues across Dubai the Dutco Brand became known as JA Resorts & Hotels, still holding true to the same family values that had made us so successful, through our personalised service of heartfelt hospitality and casual luxury. New international destinations soon found their place in our portfolio with the Enchanted Island Resort in the Seychelles and JA Manafaru in the Maldives. quickly followed by JA Ocean View Hotel in our home city: Dubai.
